Eduardo Alessi is an industrial designer from Causeway Bay, Hong Kong whose works are focused on furniture and product design. The eco DIY collection’ is a series of products that use recycled cardboard as structural material each cut from a single sheet paper. Each of the five different endangered species of animals are conceived from a flat two-dimensional pattern. Intended as a DIY assembly, the user simply follows the instructions on the packaging. Just fold the paper along the notches and impressed creases applied on the paper. The best part is no glue, cutting or other instruments are required. Once the products have been mounted they look like 5 different animals: deer, elephant, owl, giraffe and rhino.
