Discovery: Scientists Find New Pyramid Evidence

From the source of infinite power through to being a dimensional portal, few structures on this planet are as mythical as the Great Pyramid of Giza. Built thousands of years ago – it varies massively depending on who you listen to – it’s among the most amazing structures ever seen. However, despite extensive investigation and research into the pyramid itself, there is still so much that we do know not about them and are still learning as time goes on.

Indeed, the 481ft pyramid built for the famous Pharaoh, Khufu, is typically believed to house many unique secrets of ancient Egyptian life. Today, the aim is more on trying to find out the physical properties that can be proven instead of looking into mythical and spiritually-based content.

The latest discovery, then, is definitely more physical in nature. The pyramid has been found to have the ability to concentrate magnetic and electric energy into its various chambers and also below the base. This would create unique and powerful pockets of energy within the walls.

According to Dr. Andrey Evylukhin, the co-ordinator of the latest project: Egyptian pyramids have always attracted great attention. We as scientists were interested in them as well, so we decided to look at the Great Pyramid as a particle dissipating radio waves resonantly.”

By looking into the electromagnetic content of the pyramid, the hope is that they will be able to find more of the hidden chambers – including where the remains of Khufu himself may be. According to the research team: “The electromagnetic energy accumulates in the chambers […] It is shown that basically the Pyramid scatters the electromagnetic waves and focuses them in to the substrate [underground] region.”

The belief, then, is that this could be used to help create nanoparticle designs. After using thermal scanning to look at the Great Pyramid in 2017, a major anomaly was found: three massive stones at the base of the pyramid, with much higher temperature readings than those around them.

This led to the belief that yet more hidden chambers may exist that were yet to be discovered. Indeed, the massive void that exists within the central point of the pyramid above the rand Gallery was found last year alone: there is still so much to find out and discover about these amazing pieces of architecture.

Who knows what will come next for these incredible pieces of architecture? One day we might even find out how they were truly built!

Health Tech: Safer And Cheaper Colonoscopies from Surprising Company

Science and technology surprise us with new inventions every day. IBEX Technologies have introduced a thin inflatable sleeve that can go into a dark tunnel. It has a camera attached at the front which can record and transmit live video and capture high resolution images.

These RoboSleeve can also be used in areas such which include, earthquake-affected areas, hurricanes, collapsed mines. Also, sewage, water and gas pipelines can be inspected by this RoboSleeve.

The founders of IBEX, Oleg Popov, and Raphael Moisa came up with the idea of a spinoff which will go inside a 2-meter long tunnel in the human body called Colon. Doctors recommend colonoscopies to detect cancer in older people. If this type of cancer is detected early, there is 92% chance of survival of the patient. These colonoscopies are expensive, costing about $60,000. The poor might not be able to afford such expensive colonoscopy. Furthermore, the procedure is dangerous, It might negatively affect the Colon.

Tested on animals and simulators

IBEX designed disposable endoscope which can enter the colon like a “soft elongated party balloon, the type you make animals out of,” says Ido Agmon, Consis Medical’s business development manager. “Inverted sleeve expands and carries itself all the way through the colon, gently and quickly.” The device has been tested on animals and proved safer and cheaper as compared to the traditional endoscope. As Agmon tells, “an elongated semi-rigid tube that the doctor has to navigate through the colon. It’s very painful, it takes time and it’s not pleasant at all, not for the patient and not for the doctor either… it only expands from its front end and doesn’t have to be pushed,”

He adds, “It’s the size of a capsule, less than 10 centimeters long,” Agmon points out. “That’s a big difference than cleaning a 2-meter-long endoscope with many small cavities and channels.”

Cheaper than the competition?

Consis Medical Sleeve and Imaging PillCm 2, both work differently. However, they have 1 thing in common, both are less invasive than traditional colonoscopies. Furthermore, other Israeli companies such as GI view and a German company Invendo made disposable endoscope and were approved by FDA, a year ago and January 2018, respectively.

Agmon argues that the Consis Medical sleeves costs only $100 per unit which is the cheapest in the market. He says, “Our plan is to get into the first human clinical trials in the next 12 months,” FDA is probably going to take 3 to 4 years to fully approve this new device.

An interesting thing about the company is that it is looking to collaborate rather than complete with the companies currently working on colonoscopy, such as Olympus. Agmon says, “This market needs to go single use, that’s why Ambu bought Invendu.”

Agmun also identifies problems that come with this new device. He says, “there are two problems: First, virtual usually means using a CT machine with x-rays to examine the colon, not necessarily a cheaper or safer alternative.

Second, while virtual exams and capsule technologies can spot suspicious polyps, they cannot remove them. A classic colonoscopy is needed in order to do a biopsy” He adds, “So most doctors prefer the real colonoscopy from the start,”

Consis Medical currently has 3 people on board and they have a goal to raise $2 Million to build a larger team.

OMG: Raccoon Climbs an Office Building Like A Boss

Raccoons are adventurous animals. They love places to play for fun and adventure. But who knew a raccoon would climb up to 22 floors high on an office building in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The raccoon, who is on an adventure, was first seen on the 2nd floor of town square building on Monday. The next day workers tried to help him come down but the little raccoon’s adventure wasn’t over yet. He headed towards the nearby UBS Plaza tower and went all the way up to 22nd floor. This is when his excitement levels demoted and he thought to take some rest at this height.

This event didn’t go unnoticed by nearly walking passengers. They took pictures, made videos and shared the experience on social media. People are excited and they have expressed their excitement. Have a look.

After a long journey all the way up to 22nd floor, the raccoon is finally getting some rest.

People are concerned with the safety of the raccoon. And they certainly hope that their new little friend will eventually be rescued.

The latest news says that the raccoon has been rescued by the building’s crew members. Currently, the little friend is resting in the cage after a long adventure. He must have had a lot of fun on this dangerous quest.

WOW: Man-Made Perfect Handwriting

While life is all about typing and using the computer today, it’s not uncommon to find someone who still likes to communicate via the written word. I’ll admit and say that I’m lucky to have been born in the 90s, as my writing looks more like drunken scribbles than legible text. Were it not for the use of computers, I’d very much struggle to even be understood nevermind anything else!

Sometimes, though, we just come across examples of truly exemplary writing. While a nice font can always look great, proper handwritten content is some of the most enjoyable ways to see class in abundance. If you want an example of some of the most awesome handwriting examples out there, here’s just a few to think about:

The Perfect Filipino Professor.

In school, my teachers all had nice writing; this guy puts them to shame, though. The poise, the accuracy and the rich delivery of the writing is simply outstanding. Definitely one of the best examples of high-quality academic writing!

Nepalese Super Student

I’ll admit that even at my very best, I couldn’t even put together one line of this kind of accuracy. Look at how attentive to detail it is – for someone in the 8th grade, it’s almost impossible to believe.

Magical Music Sheets

This amazing handwritten music sheet is literally of a higher quality and accuracy than any music textbook I’ve ever encountered. The level of detail and precision is actually quite nauseating!

Artistic Anatomy

This amazing collection of artistic designs and doodles is like something you would get in the controller settings of a video game; all perfectly mapped out, understood and labelled. Outstanding.

That’s not all, 4 more on the next page

6 Tips for Making the Most When Stuck in Traffic

Ever find yourself stuck in traffic, tapping your fingers away on the heat of the steering wheel to pass the time?

Do you find your brow furrowing more with every passing second? One eye on the clock and another on the traffic lights?

How often do you find yourself contorting with barely-contained fury when your phone buzzes? You already said you were in traffic; why do they need to ask again!?

Welcome to the world of big city traffic jams. Not only do they make it hard for even the most punctual person to run their life on time, they make it a challenge to enjoy any kind of experience in the car. Not only are you enjoying a wonderful waste of gas, you need to delay every plan that was set in motion due to the delays.

Thankfully, you don’t need to just sit there and think about how great it could be if you could fly. In a bid to help you make those traffic jams a touch less rage-inducing, we’ve got a few ideas. The next time you find yourself wanting to walk to work in future, try these.

Sing.

The first piece of advice that we have for you is to have a nice, plain old sing. The worst thing that you can do is put on the radio. You’ll remind that music, like most forms of art, has gone down the tubes. The same diatribe comes on with alarming regularity, and it will only make the strain of sitting in traffic that much worse. If you never bought a phone with enough charge to play the music that you do like, sing your own music. Just watch those high notes; sitting in traffic without windows might suck.

Talk Yourself Around.

So you now have X amount of minutes to have a nice little thinktank with yourself. Now, I know that can sound terrible. Most of us spend traffic jams in a mood, so your thoughts are likely to be more negative. Instead, use that anger and turn it into an energy for a purpose and sense of good. Got your eye on that cigarette deck/e-cig and want to take a puff to ‘calm down’ even though you want to stop? Now is the time to convince yourself to make a change. You might as well benefit in some capacity from this trap; use traffic time to look at how you can improve yourself, and you might come out the other side feeling productive instead of pensive.

Read/Listen to Something Worthwhile.

Instead of reading Twitter 85 times or gasping at the latest transfer rumor about your team, read something worthwhile. If you can’t read on your screen/don’t want to take your eyes off the road (advised), get an audiobook. Then you can make the most of that audio capacity on your hardware. Make it something actually worthwhile. You keep putting off that HP Lovecraft audiobook… why not listen to that instead of yet another radio show?

Prepare for Work.

We’ve all been there. Get the rear view that little mirror down. Make sure your teeth look good, and ensure you’ve got some mouthwash to help make certain you won’t upset anyone’ nostril when you get to work. Sort out the tie, and the hair, and everything else you can fix, clean and correct without being accused of being a pervert in the middle of a traffic jam.

Clean it Out.

You’ve got nothing else to do – why not give your car a bit of a clear? Admit it, it’s a bit of a sty. If you are in total gridlock and cannot move, get an empty bag and start filling that bag with whatever is lying around. Organize all of the stuff in your glove compartment. Put that scarf up that’s lying under about 804 newspapers. Simple stuff, but it’s more productive than just gritting your teeth until you get moving again.

Ask Him/Her Out. The last one is the one that you were hoping we’d bring up, and we are giving you permission. Go for it. Pick up the phone and send that certain him or her a message. Ask them out, you’ve been on the brink of doing it for weeks. Wait for any longer, and they’ll presume you aren’t interested. You’ve got a good rapport, and if he/she responds it’ll leave you in a wonderful mood for the rest of the day. That traffic jam will stop being so frustrating. Yeah, they might say no and make it worse…but you’re losing concentration anyway thinking about them, so come on – DO IT!

Act on one of these (definitely the last one, Romeo/Juliet) and make sure that you don’t keep dreading the morning/evening/whenever traffic jam quite so much in the future

Wow: Jaw Dropping Animal Camouflage

Animals are, of course, the best thing about this hunk of rock that we live on. Sure, technology is cool and stuff, but animals trump anything we mere meat bags can ever accomplish. So, when we came across this awesome collection of animals and creatures that manage to blend in and camouflage with the world around them.

Let’s take a look at some of nature’ more awesome hidden gems, quite literally.

The Wrap-Around Spider.

These tremendous(ly terrifying) arachnids from Australia are like assassins. They can wrap around a tree or a branch to make sure that they are unseen, and can use that as camouflage to escape from other predators. Given it’s always got the jump on you, though, we might suggest that this arachnid might win most of its encounters.

The Grey Owl.

Always wise and intelligent, it’s no surprise that owl’ are great at hiding. Look at this one blending into a tree almost perfectly, more or less making sure it cannot be seen. Given their nocturnal nature, they’ll blend in with the darkness and the natural trees to help make them more or less impossible to see; hauntingly awesome, right?

Stone Flounder.

The Stone Flounder is a unique form of fish, that lies among salty and fresh water. It’s a rich and powerful fish, and spends a lot of its time simply blending in with the environment. You see, this fish has the chance to simply blend in with the environment as it sees fit. This allows it to simply not be seen, making sure it can blend in with pebbles, sands, stone or anything else that it needs to if it wishes to avoid capture.

I Sssseeee You.

This amazing copperhead snake blends in with the leaves as if it is not there. I actually cannot really make it out too well in the photo above; it took me the best part of five minutes looking to spot him. If you ever think that you might be in snake territory, be sure to keep an eye out for the more camouflaged ones like this badass!

Tame Impala.

This awesome picture captures an impala hiding away in the distance, staring directly at the camera without you even noticing it at first. It blends in so well with its natural habitat that spotting one takes a hell of a lot of work – and some eagle-eyed spotting on your part.

Awesome, right?

Disney Takes It Up A Notch With Sound Quality

With The Avengers: Infinity War just released worldwide it’s interesting to see just how much hype there is around the movie. As one of the biggest cinematic releases in some time, and one of the largest in terms of costs to be produced and expected income, there’s tangible excitement for what it’s going to bring to the industry. One of the most exciting parts of the release, though, is what it means for Walt Disney Studios’ long-term partnership with Dolby Cinema.

Dolby Cinema is a premium-quality feature that has become very popular. It provides viewers with Dolby Vision HDR images as well as Dolby Atmos immersive sound; a huge step-up from the standard. The new deal that has been signed will cover Infinity War in splendid detail and audio quality. However, it’ll also be covering the likes of Ant-Man and the Wasp, The Incredibles 2 and Solo: A Star Wars Story to name but a few.

This is hugely exciting for those who like to take in their audio and viewing experience at a new level. According to Solo director, Ron Howard, this is a very impressive step forward in the overall experience, saying: “Having worked with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos in the past, I’m very excited to use these technologies to immerse and envelop audiences into the Star Wars galaxy with Solo: A Star Wars Story,

“These tools really allow filmmakers to help put audiences in the story like never before.”

That isn’t all that Dolby is going to be taking on, though. We can expect the likes of Toy Story 4, Frozen 2 and Avengers 4 to come with this immense audio experience. If you are looking for an easy way to engage and enjoy the audio experience at the cinema, then this is going to be one of the best ways to do just that.

For those eager to see the latest MCU masterpiece in this kind of detail, the words of one of the stars of the show should get you even more excited.

According to Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays Doctor Strange in the new Infinity War movie, this is a major boon, saying earlier in the year that: “What I thought is, this just doesn’t stop. Once it starts, it does. Not. Stop. It’s just this horrible, brilliant, terrifying, at times funny, at times very moving, relentless action.”

Are you excited to see Infinity War and other movies in this kind of detail?

The Famous Parents of Famous Game Of Thrones Leaders

We all have a favorite celebrity we try and follow. Some of us become a mega fan or a groupie and follow the star wherever they go. If you’re not that into celebrity life and fame, then these family ties could surprise you, as you might like two actors and now find out they are actually father and son (or mother and son. Wait, or mother and daughter or father and… you know what I mean).

Let’s start with our favorite men of war and their heritage. Later on, you could read about other celebrities and their famous parents.

Famous Father: Erik Hvju

Known For: Max Manus: Man of War

Erik Hivju was a Norwegian actor appearing in more than a dozen series. He has also played roles in movies such as The King’s Choice, Hamsun and The Man of War.

Famous Son: Kristofer Hivju

Adorable Bird Feeding System Melts Hearts

When we own a pet, it becomes our duty to look after it and to care for it as if it was part of the family. While some pets are obviously more challenging to look after than others, it’s usually agreed that birds are among the most awkward pets to keep. They are very pernickety and can be quite hard to keep in a good mood if you are unsure of what you are doing.

Birds, though, do tend to appreciate the help more if they get what they want. When one man came across a tiny little baby robin that was in desperate need of food, he decided that it was time to step in and help out. Survival is hard enough as a fully grown adult bird; for a wee baby trying to fend for itself, the likelihood of survival is relatively slim.

In a bid to try and get the little bird into some kind of schedule, though, he does a rather fantastic job of helping it to feed properly. What he does is he goes out and gets a pitchfork, and starts to dig into the dirt, sifting through it to try and find some quality worms for his little bird to eat. As we all know, the early bird catches the worm and for this little robin it does not have to be doing much at all to get a nice meal that day.

He digs up through the ground for it, looking for worms and making sure that his new best buddy can get something to eat without having to try. This allows it to spend more time just enjoying life, instead of having to spend its day digging around and wasting energy looking for food and nutrients.

Watch the video as he teams up and goes hand in hand with his little avian friend to help him find something truly awesome. It’s a very cool story and one that shows you just how selfless some people can be. When we see a bird, most of the time it barely even registers with us. That changes quite quickly, though, when we see just how much they appreciate our help.

So, next time you see a little bird out the back struggling to get the food that it needs, step in and get the rake out and give him or her a helping hand. It’s a small gesture, but one that you should feel pretty damn proud of taking part in. It’s our duty to use our smarts and our power to help little animals survive, and this story shows you how you can help those beautiful little birds on your doorstep!

Wallet Found Seven Decades After Loss

When you lose your wallet, most of the time you spend about a day, two tops, looking for it. After a while, though, it’s usually commonplace to accept that it’s gone and probably won’t be coming back anytime soon. This can mean having to make lots of phone calls to cancel cards, and accept that those timeless wallet photos and any cash inside is most likely lost forever.

As we all know, though, sometimes things pop up back into our possession in ways we would have never expected. When someone lost their wallet 71 years ago, though, they’d likely spent the majority of life forgetting about it – it was just a wallet after all, right?

Larry Sloan, who runs The Talent Factory, a popular comedy club in Nevada, came across a rather interesting discovery when he found this wallet. The wallet was found when Larry and a mate were carrying out some renovation reviews on the club. Inbetween two floor boards, it has clearly been lost a long time ago. In a bid to find out where it came from and who it belongs to, Larry began a search.

It was still in good shape despite being lost for so long, albeit with a touch of fading and a nice dust jacket enveloped around it. Other than that, though, the wallet was in pretty good condition. So, they decided to open it up and see if anything inside would give them an idea as to who it belonged to. Given its age, though, hopes weren’t high….

Inside the wallet, though, was all manner of old-school items – for example, a proper food ration stamp from the Second World War. They kept looking through the wallet, finding various trinkets as they dug deeper. They also found a proper old school Boy Scouts card, decades old at the very least, and some old phots that were faded and hard to make out. The best find, though, was a small calendar stored in there – dated 1944.

Digging deeper, they found a little ID card that read Clare McIntosh in faded blue ink – they now just had to find a certain Ms. McIntosh who would fit the timeline. However, the story almost ended here; all they had was a name and a photo of young man to go on.

However a deep search continued, until the two gentleman were able to finally find the famous Clare McIntosh alive and well, in good spirits, aged 85. They gave him back his old memorabilia and let him take back a little bit of his childhood that he must have presumed was long lost.

It’s a nice little story, and shows you that things can turn up in so many places – even when you least expect them.

Would you go to the trouble of finding someone who had lost a possession so far back in history? Or would you just let slide, and never try to reach or contact them?

Brave Breast Cancer Diagnosis Leaves Internet Humbled

It is, without doubt, one of the worst things that you could be told – that you have cancer. It’s a terrifying thing to hear, and leaves most people without any real hope of recovering. However, the way that Kambri Crews dealt with her diagnosis is pretty damn uplifting. She was diagnosed after noticing something was amiss in her breast, but rather than let it ruin her she decided to press on with her life.

Undergoing tests to determine what the lump was, she was diagnosed yet unlike most, she faced it head on. It took months to finally determine what it was; she got the call when she was filling up her basement at her comedy club.

“My first thought, I’m sure almost everyone’s first thought is, ‘I’m going to die,’” she said, “‘I guess I’ve got to sign over my life insurance and who’s going to take care of my dogs?’ I had all those morbid mortality thoughts. I’m discovering now, as people are telling me their stories and I’m learning more, that there are lots of other women, most people can get through this okay at the end.”

Sharing the video of her battle online to try and help raise spirits and inspire others, her video went viral as her amazing positivity gave everyone around her an uplifting, steadfast approach to defeating the illness. If she was able to maintain a positive approach, then surely everyone else could, too?

“I’m not going to crawl up in a ball and cry and be depressed,” Crews added. “The bills still have to be paid, the theater still has to be run, I still have two dogs that need to be walked and fed, and a husband who cares about me.”

Amazing, right? What an attitude to have: she wasn’t going to let some silly old lump slow her down! Best of luck and we hope that you recover as soon as you possibly can, Kambri. We’re all with you – kick it’s ass!
