Unusual Spots To Up Your Insta Game

These days, it has become a regular thing to take photos close to the Eiffel tower, the Hollywood sign, or even the Golden Gate Bridge. And if you’re one that likes to stand out, here are three classic locations to grow your Instagram audience.

Atlanta’s Edgewood Avenue

Edgewood Avenue, located in downtown Atlanta is a perfect blend of culture and creativity that puts Atlanta in a class of its own. With notable places like Killer Mike’s barbershop which they call The SWAG Shop, this area clearly separates itself.

Also, there are several concert venues on the avenue, so from the great lighting and crowds, you can take great pictures while listening to your favorite artists play. Another prominent point on the street is a quirky ping-pong bar which was established by an ex-nun. For real! You should check it out.

Boston’s Acorn Street

A trip to Acorn Street is nothing different from going back in time to colonial America. Though this cobblestone street is not so wide, it boasts an amazing scenic view which resulted from the historic brick homes on both sides. There is no place for modern architecture in this street, as every home still wears a complete look of ancient but lovely architecture.

Several flower pots sit in front of the homes, with tiny greenery just enough to give your picture perfect background. Acorn Street is situated in the middle of Beacon Hill, a well-known Boston neighborhood that was once home to abolitionists several hundreds of years ago.

Philadelphia’s Fountain Street Steps

Located in the middle of Fairmont Park, the Fountain Street Steps enjoys a ravishing decoration with a pretty mosaic pattern. The Street Steps had been there from time, but it just received a nice touch-up from locals when graffiti and non-native plants were about to outshine the native plants.

At the end of the steps is a beautiful fountain, with native trees all around the area. The Fountain Street Steps is not only amazing for how it looks but because of the story behind it. The Steps are representations of a joint community effort despite the troubles that it faced.

The caption of your picture on these steps would be quite educative and engaging to your followers.

Now that you know these locations, make a move to get to these points and give your Instagram followers that much-needed engagement!

2018 Largest Ships On The Seas

While we don’t quite use sea travel to the extent of our ancestors, traveling via water is still pretty damn popular. Many people love to go to the sea because it allows a sense of liberation from the laws of the land. That being said, you might also suffer from problems with finding a ship of the right size to fit your ambitions. If you want some help in finding some of the biggest ships in the world, then here are some of the largest vessels still sailing the seven seas today.

CMA CGM Von Humboldt

The CMA CGM Alexander von Humboldt, to be exact. This stunning explorer ship was built and named after the famous Alexander von Humboldt himself. This amazing ship was scheduled to be delivered in 201,3, and is capable of delivering an impressive speed of 20 knots despite being a dead weight of a whopping 187,624 tons.

It’s a huge ship, but it’s not the biggest on this latest – despite managing to reach a whopping 396m in size.

Emma Maersk

Just a touch more impressive in terms of size is the stunning Emma Maersk. This gigantic cruise ship is among the most popular on the planet, and has long stood the test of time as a hugely impressive E-class ship. It’s been around for over a decade, having been manufactured in 2006. Since then, it has become a very impressive part of the world of nautical development, with it at one stage being the largest ship ever created. Indeed, it was able to carry as many as 11,000 units at 20ft in size – each!

Esso Atlantic

At a whopping 406m in size, the Esso Atlantic is one of the leaders on this important list of stunning boats. Despite launching more than 40 years ago, in 1977, it was a hugely impressive cruise ship for the era.

Indeed, its impressive dead weight of 516,891 tons becomes even more impressive when you consider that it can hit top speeds of a whopping 15.6 knots. It’s a massive oil transfer tanker that has served as one of the most valuable ships to sail the seas for many a year.

Seawise Giant

The stunning Seawise Giant is, at 458m in length, the second largest ship that we could find. This amazing cruise ship was later known by other names like Knock Nevis and Mont, was a stunning ULCC supertanker. It held the distinction of having the greatest deadweight tonnage ever seen, with a whopping 657,019 tons making it the heaviest ship of any kind ever built at the time.

Given it could hit speeds of 16 knots, though, you would never know!

Prelude FLNG

This is the largest ship we could find still cutting around in 2018. With over 600,000 tons of displacement and with over 260,000 tons of steel, this is a hugely impressive model aircraft. Ships like this often stand out as they produce a stunning platform for everything from liquefied natural gas platforms to working offshore.

At 488m in length, you can be almost certain that this stunning ship is one of the largest ever to be produced.

Yummy: Most Expensive Meals In The World

When we live in a world of haves and have-nots, stories like this can always feel a bit grim. You know, stories about luxurious foods that cost more than the average person earns in a month. It’s a dreadful state of affairs and only helps to perpetuate the idea that those with all the money don’t have a clue how to spend it properly. Anyway, I digress. You are here because you want to read about quality food items.

Well, the world knows how to price its luxury foods. Want some examples? Here are a few grotesquely priced delights.

Vanilla Flower

I know what you are thinking – but you have lots of vanilla ice cream in the freezer. At around $4,000 per pound, vanilla costs a huge amount. It only blooms for a few hours in a year, and does not leave much by way of pollination.

Vanilla itself is a very expensive product – the idea that you can get it so easily is quite a surprise given the cost of it per pound in its purest form.

Almas Caviar

A classic of the ‘it cost how much!?’ food world, Almas caviar is horrendously expensive. You would be paying as much as $25,000 for this kind of caviar. It’s needle in a haystack stuff to find it, even in its native Iran. The fact it comes in a 24-karat gold tin lets you know just how ridiculous the world has gone when it comes to how we spend.

White Truffles

At not far off seven grand for a kilogram of white truffles, these outrageous foods are one of the most expensive in the world. They are used in the highest quality of fishes, and only tiny amounts will be used such is their rarity, cost and, most importantly, quality.

It’s one of those foods that, you may be surprised to know, I have never tried. Apparently, though, it’s dynamite with scrambled eggs. It looks rancid, but apparently tastes like royalty.

Bluefin Tuna

Another very popular dish but madly priced is that of the Bluefin tuna. At close to $4,000 for a single pound of it, Bluefin is a very expensive product. It gets used in a lot of top meals and tends to be a very expensive add-on if you were to want it used in your food.

However, given the Bluefin tuna is a species getting close to extinction as it stands, it’s not just an expensive dish to eat – it’s an ethical hazard, too.

Densuke Watermelon

One of the most expensive items that we could find, though, is the Japanese Densuke watermelon. This item sold for over $6,000 at an auction in Japan, and became a huge talking point. This black watermelon isn’t rotten or anything like that – it’s a unique kind of Japanese fruit.

It might seem a bit nuts, but the Densuke watermelon is among the most expensive dishes that you could ever eat.

Foie Gras

Out of all the items we looked into, though, we found that Foie Gras – duck/goose liver – was among the most expensive. It’s extremely nice apparently, but it’s going to cost you a hell of a lot to eat if you want to try it out. Prices depend on where you go, but a 2lb Foie Gras would cost you around $150.

That might not sound like much considering the above prices, but keep in mind it’s a meal, not an ingredient like some of the above.

In a world where so many starve, it’s pretty wild that we have food that can cost as much as this, right?

Top Inventions That Made Millions Despite All Logic

The world, as we all know, is full of odd people. Great people. People with visions. Some people, though, have the vision but not the execution. Others have the execution, but no vision. Sadly, it would appear that there are many examples in history of the former dying penniless, while the latter makes millions with some outright odd creations.

Some of the following objects we’re about to look at are popular inventions which have made millions. They might seem quite odd at first, but believe us: they are massive commercial success. One thing is for sure: the people who made these sell had both vision and execution!

The Magic 8 Ball

We’ll start with an old classic, and one that everyone knows: the old Magic 8-Ball. A downright ridiculous contraption, this became super popular over a series of years ever since Albert Carter and Abe Bookman released their debut device.

It started out as a simple tube with some thick liquid and the predictions printed onto the die. Before long, Brunswick Billiards picked up upon the idea and turned it into the Magic 8-Ball.

Tamagotchi

The Tamagotchi was the bane of many a 90s parent; an expensive toy that made little to no sense to anyone outside of a child. Tens of millions sold, and Bandai raked it in. Many lesser equivalents became popular, too, but the Tamagotchi was a massive craze across the world – at   one point, Bandai estimated the were selling a Tamagotchi every single second.

They were very frustrating creatures, and required incessant attention from the owner or it would die, forcing a reset and the need to start again – meaning many a parent would lose their rag, watching for their child to do chores, homework or anything else other than play this infernal masterpiece.

Doggles

Yes. Doggles. Goggles for dogs. I know.

These outrageous inventions, decried as daft by many, are clearly a creation of a genius. Why? They have sold over the world, and have sold millions of them. With a price not a kick in the teeth off $20 per unit, doggles have managed to create a huge market for themselves by being a comical fashion accessory that does something useful.

It helps dogs with ocular-based medical issues to keep their eyes a bit more under control should they suffer from certain eye conditions. See? They aren’t totally outrageous!

Singing Fish

Spend any time in any kind of naff hunting establishment, and the ‘Singing Fish’ will be put on. It’s not very funny, and it’s become a bit of a burden and a stereotype to some. However, it’s become very popular and there is absolutely no reason why, from a commercial standpoint, it should not be applauded.

Is The Book Always Better Than The Movie? Maybe Not

“Ach, what’s the point in seeing it? The book is always better than the movie!”

While this might be a common refrain for any book-to-movie adaption it’s not always the case. Sometimes, a theme and idea can only be explained well when it’s put into an immediate visual format. Books need a certain understanding of the ideas being discussed to truly get it. for that reason, sometimes the movie can win out over the book.

“Like when!?” I hear you ask. Well, let me explain. Here are some examples of times when the movie might actually outstrip the written version.

One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest

Having seen the movie ahead of reading the book, I maybe done this in the wrong order. However, I feel like the movie putting a bit more of a spotlight on McMurphy is important, not least because it allows Jack Nicholson to be at his most outrageous best.

It’s a cracking movie, and the book is still good. I do like the alteration of the angle and dynamic, though, as it does make the perspective more on McMurphy than with Chief.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

While many find that the works of J.K. Rowling work as well on the page as they do the screen, I preferred the screen version of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I just found that there was more to it, especially the fact that the movie fleshes out the kind of lack of proper storyline in the original book.

This makes it a bit more of a story than just an additional piece of lore for the Harry Potter universe. It’s very interesting to see some of the famous HP stuff taken on by new characters and locations.

Gone Girl

A controversial one for some, but I think the Gone Girl movie released in 2014 is better than the original novel by Gillian Flynn. The novel is a fine work, but I felt there was more of a race and a pulse setting fear to the movie.

The screen version just adds a bit more to guess and try to work out and around, which always makes it a bit more intriguing in the thriller industry. For me, at least.

To Kill A Mockingbird

As one of the first ‘great’ books I ever read, the book will always hold a place in my heart. However, I feel like the screen adaptation of To Kill A Mockingbird might just trump the book. The 1962 film is a wonderful take on the book as it covers it in such a tough, visceral fashion.

The empathy and the power of the story is felt so incredibly well in the movie adaption. It’s a tremendous take on a brilliant book, and might just win over thanks to the amazing works of the likes of Gregory Peck.

There are some other good options out there that you might prefer ahead of the book – what do you think? What would you rather watch than read?

5 Funny Tweets That Say ‘Clueless’ All Over Them

Well, no one ever said that ALL great minds think alike!  Couples are no exception when it comes to being on the same page at the same time. In an age of digital devices and high technology, some people just never really climbed on board.

Even the most successful relationships can have very funny moments that leave for more questions than answers. From looking up into the sky and asking if that’s Earth shining up there to confusing the sun with the moon!  It’s a fact that all relationships have their ups and downs but if you can laugh it off, you are by far the better person!

Organ “Donor”

When you’ve been brought up to believe that, if given the opportunity, the government will steal the gold right out of your mouth, it’s a little difficult to know where the line is drawn.  We’ve got to side with this guy, if for no other reason than his misunderstanding about organ donations.  He really did believe they could stop by one day and request an organ!  In self-defense, his lack of knowledge on the subject left him wanting to protect what is rightfully his!

Then Where Are You?

Some questions can be a little strange if the person asking is not familiar with a given subject but, in this case, it sounds like the girlfriend skipped her astronomy class in elementary school.  One night she gazed up into the sky, stared at a star, and asked her boyfriend if they were looking at planet Earth!  Well, if that’s the Earth, where the heck are the rest of us hanging out?

A Brown Cow

So, this woman goes for a walk, comes running back in a panic that she was being charged by an animal! Saying it looked like a cow but was black and white not brown, leaves us with several questions.  One, did she not learn anything about biology in school?  Two, did it ever dawn on her that just because it was not brown, it sure looked like a cow!  Lady, trust us – it’s a cow!

Plastic Love?

Ok, we realize some artificial plants look real but how many times would you water a plant and see the water just pouring through?  Well, Tweedledee and Tweedledum seem to be a perfect match!  Being told once would normally be enough, but three times?? Give me a break!

That Explains Why He Didn’t Pick Up

We all seem to take advantage of a world with cell phones that are at arm’s length.  This woman wanted to call her husband but overlooked one important fact.  He had told her he left his cell phone at home and asked her to bring it to him. Well, looks like she forgot the phone when she tried to call him.  We do applaud her for finding the humor in this faux pas and hopefully had a good laugh!

You have to see these other people who have the most unintentional hilarious partners

The Loudest Rock Concerts Ever Recorded

When you leave a music concert or a gig, you can often like you have just your ears filled with paper. The ringing noise in your ears sticks around for a long time, as does the necessity to go “WHAT?” to just about anyone you speak to. Even going to see someone quite harmonic and relaxing can leave your ears in a bit of a tiff. So, going to see a major rock band at a big venue is only going to exasperate those scenarios.

However, regardless of how bad your ears have been, you will find that it pales in comparison to what would have happened if you were present at any of the following rock concerts. These are recorded as among the loudest in history.

Sleazy Joe, 2008

Their show that was held over at Hassleholm, and it managed to produce a ridiculous 143.2 decibels of noise. That’s a hell of a lot of noise, and shows you just how far the group were going on this performance.

Touted as the ‘loudest band in the world’, it’s fair to say that Sleazy Joe done a pretty damn good job of making that come true in their ’08 show in Sweden.

AC/DC, 1980

Known for being able to hit the heights on a good night, AC/DC managed an impressive 130 decibels during their Back in Black tour back in the 1980s. Years of hitting the high notes will have had an impact on the band with singer Brian Johnson having to reschedule shows in 2016 or risk the loss of his hearing entirely!

Indeed, back in the day they were told that they were ‘too loud’ by promoters and were asked to turn down the volume a touch: pfft!

The Who, 1976

While we might not really associate The Who with being a ‘loud’ band, they managed to make an impressive 126 decibels of noise during one of their London shows in 1976. They were playing at the Valley Stadium, and managed to make plenty of noise.

It was at one stage the highest performing concert in history, so much so that the Guinness Book of World Records awarded them for their noisiness until it was later broken.

Leftfield, 1996

Among the loudest that we could find, though, comes courtesy of the incredible Leftfield. They done a show over at the Brixton Academy, and managed to hit a stupendous 137 decibels. That’s damn impressive, and has become part of their show experience: loud to the point where they are warned by their promotional teams.

Legal limits mean that breaking these kind of sound levels is very unlikely. However, while it would be nice to go even a bit higher again, the 140-odd decibel level sounds more than loud enough for most gigs!

Whatever kind of rock music you like, you’ll find that some of these concerts are the kind of gig that you would like to spend your night, even if your ears would feel like they have gone through a workout!

Terrifying Halloween Records to Scare You Silly

As one of the most wonderful yet terrifying times of the year, Halloween brings people together through the ability to scare one another. It’s one of the best ways for you to have some fun and to make people feel a little worried, but it is by no means a reason for you to feel like you cannot have fun at the same time. If you want to make Halloween feel a touch more authentic, though, here are some terrifying Halloween records you will love/hate to read.

The Skeleton Army

Swansea University might be acclaimed as a top quality university, but it’s also a pretty damn scary place. You see, they managed to bring together a whopping 2018 participants to take part in the Jokers’ Masquerade, with everyone dressed up as terrifying as they could to take on the whole street surrounding them.

Once everyone was gathered, they underwent one of the largest “day of the dead” dancing session we have ever seen: truly something to be seen to be believed.

This follows on with the rather terrifying 15,458 people that got together to take part in the Zombie Pub Crawl, Minneapolis in 2014.

Dead Island

Another terrifying place to look is that of what we can only call Chucky Island – real name La Isla de las Munecas. It’s a Mexican island, and on it there are all manner of terrifying items that would make one shudder.

It’s got all manner of decaying dolls strewn around the place, making it feel so eternally haunting upon your arrival. It started in the 1950s, when Don Julian Santana Barrera lived on the island. He claimed to be haunted by a drowned girl, and wanted to appease her spirit by placing dolls on the island as a shrine to her. Yeah. Ironically, Barrera eventually drowned in the same lake she supposedly drowned in.

Lantern of Hell

The largest Jack-o-lantern in the world was rated at a ridiculous 821.23kg back in October 2010. It has yet to be topped, and was carved from the largest and heaviest pumpkin to create an utterly terrifying looking artistic lantern. It’s huge, it looks terrifying evil and it holds all of the hallmarks of nature progression that makes these kind of feats so impressive.

It’s terrifying and awesome in equal measure.

The Famous Scream

Interestingly a famous scream noise known as the Wilhelm Scream has been used in a whopping 133 movies, as well as in numerous games, theme park rides and more. It’s a terrifying sound, and once you hear it you will know exactly what scream we mean. It was used in all manner of old-school horror movies, and has even made it into popular films like Raiders of the Lost Ark and Star Wars.

It holds the record for being the most commonly used sound effect in the movie industry.

With these spooky stats showing you how just prolific and terrifying the industry is, you can now hopefully see that Halloween isn’t just a fat for certain types of people: it’s for everyone. Are you going to take part this year? If so, what are you going as? Where will you be?

You never know: you might about to join another record-breaking celebration of Halloween!

It might not sound like the scariest song, but a quick listen to the lyrics will quickly confirm that this is more than a mid-tempo classic that sounds good to relax to: it’s got ample fear in those lyrics.

Deal With The Devil

We have a lot of classics in this list so here’s a recent entry to the list — Pop Evil’s chugging, hard rock single “Deal With the Devil.” Coming from the band’s 2013 set Onyx, it topped Mainstream Rock Songs and peaked at No. 20 in Rock Airplay.

Monster Mash

Get everyone up doing the monster mash with the help of this awesome tune by Bobby Pickett & the Crypt-Kickers. A must-have for any good playlist, it’s got all themes that you need to make a good Halloween tune; it’s slapstick, its catchy and it comes with some rather tremendous dance moves to move along to!

With this in mind, then, you should be able to put together the most spectacular and spooky Halloween music playlist this year!

The Four Fastest Cars on the Planet Today

As one of the industries that never seems to stay still for a second, supercars are always changing. What was once seen as the crown jewel of the auto industry will quickly be seen as nothing more than a relic within a few short years. That kind of pace means that we can often pick up yesterdays’ diamonds for the price of today’s gravel.

What, though, are the present fastest cars on the planet today? What are the bank-breaking super-cars on the market that you could, in theory, drive?

Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

Capable of hitting a dizzying 268mph the Super Sport makes it easy for you to fully appreciate its unique power. Very few cars are able to hit this kind of speed range, and this was able to break the original limit of the SSC Ultimate Aero. While it might cost you a cool $1.7m to get one, it’s still a car that many would dream of driving.

So now that you know what the typical speed point is for some of the fastest cars in the world, where would you like to start?

The incredible speeds that these cars can reach makes us wonder just how fast we’ll be travelling in the next decade and beyond. Is there really any need to go faster than this? We’re sure someone will say yes!

Koenigsegg Agera RS

This number is technically the fastest car in the world, as they can 100% prove their claims. The other two are capable of hitting their speeds according to their developers, but the Agera RS can be seen doing an eye-splitting 278mph in videos.

The Swedish designers behind it have outdone their normally outstanding selves with a special model indeed. It looks like something from a sci-fi movie, too, which only helps to set the fact this is such a powerful car apart from its competitors.

SSC Tuatara

Next up is the aesthetically wonderful SSC Tuatara. This beauty is one of the top American cars, and has become a bit of a specialist in the industry. According to experts, the car is capable of hitting as high as 300mph; a whopping speed indeed.

It uses a 1,750HP twin-turbocharged V8 engine, a whole 5.9l of it. It’s a ridiculous engine power, and would make it one of the fastest cars in the world to drive if you ever managed to get lucky and land in the seat.

The Venom F5

One of the most wonderfully designed cars we’ve ever seen, the Venom F5 by Hennessey Performance Engineering might just be the fastest in the world. With a ridiculous 7.4l twin-turbocharged V8 engine, this can hit a quite silly 301mph. Imagine that kind of speed for just a second: it’s the kind of ridiculous speed that put simply, would just feel hard to really think about.

If you’ve ever seen Men in Black, then the turbo button on their car is kinda of how we’d imaging 301mph to feel like. The Venom GT is another model of theirs, and has been shown to reach as high as 270mph.

Movie-Inspired Rides That Have Been Shut Down

We are going to miss these theme park rides. For many years, they have been the most exciting features in the parks. Having a nice ride in the theme parks for your favorite movies is like acting a role in the movies. There was such huge patronage for these parks, so it is surprising that the owners decided to shut them down. So here are the theme parks we discovered have been closed permanently. So sad…

Ghostbusters Spooktacular

We all loved the movie, and it was a thrill to have an adventure at the Spooktacular Show where the ‘ghoulish’ creatures threatened to topple your ride. The theme ride represented the Sci-Fi movie with popular characters such as the Marshmallow man popping out to scare the visitors. Over the years some modifications were done to include the character played by Ricky Moranis. However, the show has been shut down, leaving behind only the memories of the good times.

Twister… Ride It Out!

You must remember the movie Twister, it was one of the best movies of 1996. We expected some sequels to add new twists to the story, but nothing was produced in the years that followed. The show developed with this theme was spectacular. The visitors were made to experience astonishing effects of a tornado while standing on a platform; it was so real. Unfortunately, this park was shut down in 2015. Now you can find the Jimmy Fallon ride in its place, it is good, but we miss the ‘Ride it Out’ experience.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Submarine Voyage

In 1954, the 20,000 Leagues ‘Under The Sea’ movie was the inspiration behind the Starboard Ride which featured a high-resolution viewing. It was opened in 1994, and the visitors were thrilled. The ride took the guests through the adventures of Captain Nemo and his band of tourists as they journeyed under the sea for 23 years. Such an adventure but not to be experienced again.

Kongfrontation

King Kong was an awesome hit in the theatres. The Universal Studios had to recreate an amazing adventure at the Florida Island of Adventure. Visitors could have a first-hand experience of the Skull Island. The show was called- The Reign of Kong. It was a spectacular ride; the Kongfrontation experience featured the King Kong in the 1976 movie. Visitors went on a ride on a tram through the Island to escape the angry Kong. Such a thrilling experience. The show was closed in 2002; now visitors can experience the mummy themed ride based on the movie “The Mummy.”

Drop Zone: Stunt Tower

Paramount pictures joined in on the theme park business by developing their themed ride based on the Wesley Snipes movie the drop zone. The ride was successful with so many tourists queuing up for the experience. The Drop Zone theme ride was set-up to compete with the themed rides developed by Disney and Universal Pictures. However, Paramount pictures shifted its focus away from managing theme rides, and the show was closed.

Star Tours

The Star Tours was based on the Star Wars 1977 movie adaptation. The location of Star Tours was in Florida, Paris, California, and Japan. The ride has now been upgraded to feature the newer Star Wars stimulation with an added attraction where 3PO, R2, and D2 are the hosts. There is also a new robot pilot representing RX 24 also called Rex.

Hurler

The theme parked styled after Wayne’s World is one of the parks funded by Paramount Pictures. The comedy themed show included the puking and hurling experience the audience saw on the show. However, Wayne’s World part of the show was canceled in 2000 when the parks where sold.

There are 5 more including Back to The Future and more:

Biggest Trailers To Come Out of Comic-Con

Every year San Diego Comic-Con sees the release of many new film trailers and TV show peeks throughout the four-day event, and this year is no different. Movie studios and television stations hold panels to showcase upcoming properties. Some of what they are showing is exclusive to the con itself, but some are the worldwide debut of some of the most expected projects.

Here are the 8 biggest movie and TV trailers Comic-Con 2018 had to offer.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (season 7)

It’s hard to remember now, but not so long ago the only Star Wars movie or television show we had after the prequel trilogy was George Lucas’ animated series The Clone Wars. The show ran for six seasons under the guidance of Dave Filoni. To celebrate The Clone Wars’ 10th anniversary, Filoni hosted a panel at Comic-Con. Fans came to reminisce but were treated to a sweet surprise announcement that the series would be revived for a 12-episode season 7. Plus the first new Star Wars: The Clone Wars trailer and poster were revealed as well. The show will return on Disney’s streaming service, which is expected to launch in 2019.

Godzilla: King of Monsters

Gareth Edwards’ 2014 Godzilla film effectively rebooted the classic Toho monster property, and launched a new cinematic universe that will eventually see the iconic creature face off against King Kong. The second entry in Legendary and Warner Bros’ MonsterVerse arrived last year with Jordan Vogt-Roberts’ Kong: Skull Island, a prequel introducing King Kong. Next, director Michael Dougherty’s Godzilla: King of Monsters continues the story from Edwards’ film. A teaser trailer for Godzilla 2 was unveiled earlier this week, previewing the full trailer’s release during Comic-Con.

Dr. Who (Season 11)

He is coming back. The thing is he is actually a she now and has multiple companions this time around. That’s right Dr. Who, the long-running BBC Sci-FI is back and is changing things up a bit both in front and behind the camera.  With the start of season 11, Jodie Whittaker will be the first woman to play the Doctor, following Peter Capaldi’s departure in the 2017 Christmas Special. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, showrunner Steven Moffat stepped down, with Chris Chibnall taking the reins. Now we have the first look at this ever-evolving show.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald

This is the only trailer on the list that is not the first footage the general audience is seeing from the film. The thing is the trailer is so good and full of details that we can not skip it. This is the second chapter in what is still being planned as a five-movie series, that is acting as a prequel to the famous Harry Potter Saga. The Crimes of Grindelwald (as its subtitle implies) further brings the subplot from the first Fantastic Beasts movie – concerning the dark wizard Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) – into the center of things. It seems that Newt Scamander’s (Eddie Redmayne) story takes a darker and more dangerous turn in this film, but at least this time around he will have the help of none other than Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law)  himself.

Mayans (Season 1)

\

FX’s Sons of Anarchy, a gritty drama about the lives of those involved with a California-based motorcycle club, ran for seven seasons on the network from 2008-2014. And while Kurt Sutter’s Charlie Hunnam-starring, critically successful drama has been done for some time, it still inspires a dedicated fan base. As such, Sutter is returning with Mayans M.C., the spinoff series following JD Pardo’s Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes. After the Mayans M.C. pilot was reshot, the series was picked up by FX and is now moving forward. Now, ahead of the show’s Comic-Con panel on Sunday, the full Mayans M.C. trailer has been released.

Next Page: Superheros on both the big and the small screen.
