Cute Love Born On Set

People always want a cool story of where they met ‘the one’, but when you are a star, the places you can meet your significant other are a little more glamorous than most ordinary folk. And what story is better than meeting on-set??

These celebs gave such good performances of falling in love on-screen, that it became their off-screen reality too, and while not all of them lasted, they all make for a great tale. So let's sail through memory lane with the most memorable lovebird celebrities who met their other half on the job.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis

While the break between meeting on set and actually falling in love was quite a long one for these two, they remain one of our favorite couples that met on the set of That 70's Show. who would have thought 16 years later they would be where they are today.

A 15-year-old Kunis had her first kiss with Kutcher way back when on ‘That 70’s Show’, and although both went on to have romances with different people, Ashton even marrying Demi Moore for some time,  the pair came back together in 2012 and have two children together.

Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder

These two weird and wonderful actors paired up after starring together on the classic Tim Burton movie ‘Edward Scissorhands’. When they went on their first date Johnny was 26 and Winona only 17! But the age difference didn’t hold them back and they were smitten, Depp even getting a tattoo which read ‘ Winona Forever’.

It was awkward when they broke up in 1992 and Depp was left with the permanent reminder of the relationship. He later changed it to ‘ Wino Forever’… which isn’t much better.

Funny love

in 2016 Depp was accused of domestic violence by his, then-estranged wife, Amber Heard. Ryder came to his defense (actually she answered some questions when asked about the issue), and said in an interview to E! News: "I mean, he was never, never that way towards me. Never abusive at all towards me.

I only know him as a really good, loving, caring guy who is very, very protective of the people that he loves. It’s hard because I feel like — that’s my experience. And it’s been a very long time." Ryder is now 44 and was 17 when she first met Depp.

Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz

Although Javier and Penelope worked together on set in 1992 on the film Jamon Jamon, it wasn’t until they starred in their second Woody Allen film, Vicky Christina Barcelona, that their real-life romance began. They tied the knot in 2010 and have had two children since. Barden is a vocal fan of his wife, often commenting on her sexiness and feistiness…

I mean if you were married to Penelope Cruz, wouldn’t you??

Cruz love

In 2017 they finished filming another film in which they work together. That's number three. Bardem plays infamous drug lord Pablo Escobar, while Cruz plays journalist Virginia Vallejo, in Loving Pablo.

In an interview to E! News, Bardem said "One of the joys, and the fun of what we do, is to create. We were very careful to make sure we kept that joy and that we keep being able to create and use our imagination. In this movie, I think both of us learned more than ever to do that because it was necessary for us to be able to get back to ourselves.

To go back home and have a life. And actually, it was easy. It was fun and I think we both made a little step towards growing up as performers because instead of stepping around things we really went there.”

Blake Lively and Penn Badgley

These days, all anyone can talk about is the beyond adorable marriage of blonde bombshell Blake Lively and equally bombshell husband Ryan Reynolds. But take one moment to remember those sweet and innocent days of when a young Blake and a young Penn acted alongside one another on the caste of Gossip Girl and fell deeply in love!

They started dating way back in 2007, mimicking their on-screen characters, Serena and Dan, who were smitten with one another. In real life, they called it quits in 2010, but their Gossip Girl characters had a happier ending, and tied the knot in the series finale!

Short lived love

They kept their hook up quiet for a while, and when they broke up three years later, they kept that quiet as well. Both hush-ups were for the same reason - they didn't know how their bosses would take it. In an interview on TeenVogue, Lively said "I remember there was one point where we were just afraid of how our personal lives overlapping our work life could be perceived by our bosses."

It was just what they wanted. But when they brought their relationship to an end they also hid it, even from the staff. Gossip Girl co-producer and writer Joshua Safran told Vanity Fair. “They kept the breakup hidden from the crew, which you could never do now. I don’t even know how they did it.

They kept it from everybody, which is a testament to how good they are as actors. Because they did not want their personal drama to relate to the show.”

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum

depositphotos

A couple that proves love can last even when you’re constantly in the spotlight, Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum have been granting the public with cute loved-up pics since way back when.

The dancing king and queen met in 2006, when they filmed the dancing masterpiece Step Up. Their chemistry in the movie is so electric, everyone thought it had to be real- and it was!

The two married in 2009 and had a daughter in 2013.

Love Dance

In September 2017, Jenna shared an Instagram moment of her behind, and wrote "Cheeky balcony series". In a later interview, when asked about it, Jenna said that she was proud of her working out and doing squats.

Tatum had to butt in (pun intended) and said that he was the one who took the picture and uploaded it from Jenna's phone.

He's very proud of Jenna's body and backside. At the premiere of his latest film Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Tatum shared with the press “She’s got a great boot" when Jenna was asked about her dress.

Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn

It makes sense that falling in love while filming a movie called The Break-Up may not have the best consequences… after Jen divorced Brad Pitt (a whole other story we will be addressing), she started dating funnyman Vince Vaughn in 2005, and the world went wild.

However, their own breakup occurred not long after in 2006.

Vaughn later revealed how one of the hardest parts of dating Jen was all the attention that went with it.

Almost had it

However, he still is very fond of his blond bombshell of an ex and told Playboy Magazine " You know, she’s great," he said, "For me personally — and I think most well-known actors who are together, feel this way.

I never enjoyed the paparazzi side of it. You like someone and you’re spending time with them; that’s separate and that was all fine.

But I really spent most of that time finding ways not to be drawn to the attention."

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux

I guess when you’re as busy of an actress as Jen, there aren’t many places other than on set to find that significant other. Jennifer met her future husband, Justin Theroux, while they filmed ‘Wanderlust’ together, and while the film itself was quite a fail, their romance was a certain success.

The two married in 2015 in a top-secret wedding ceremony, but 2018 was their break up year. nevermind, we love them both.

Almost had it #2

And about her injuries she suffered during 2017, she told Red Magazine: “This has been my year of injuries. I screwed up my back a bit. But I’m getting back into it now. There’s a treadmill workout I do that’s just interval for about 40 minutes and then I go into the gym and work out with my trainer.

Then I do The Class, which is a whole other new thing that has become an obsession of mine. It’s a mind, body, soul sort of experience. And I do a combination of all kinds of yoga, mixed in with a little barre.”

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield

When Garfield met Stone for the first time, his Spidey senses were clearly tingling. This adorable couple who we are all secretly wishing would get back together, met during Emma’s screen test for ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ in 2010.

Andrew admitted that he felt an instant connection to the redhaired beauty, and when she got cast as his love interest, Gwen Stacy things only escalated.

They were the couple that everyone loved to love, and it broke our hearts when after dating on and off for five years, they called it quits for good in 2015.

Kiss love

There are rumors about a love still burning with evidence, but nothing actually happened. After the breakup in 2015 Emma was asked about their relationship but she refused to talk about it, saying: "See, I never talk about this stuff for this exact reason—because it's all so speculative and baseless.

Once you start responding... once you're like, 'No, that's not true', then they're like, 'Well, if we push enough, we'll get a comment, so let's see what else we can make up.'"

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie

The girl who stole the heart of Hollywood’s most wanted man today, Rose Leslie and Harington met and fell in love when she played Jon Snow’s love interest in ‘Game of Thrones’ in 2012. And as you all know, Jon Snow knows nothin'.

While Jon Snow may know nothing, Kit Harington knows a good thing when he sees it, and they got married!

Knows nothing

In an interview Kit talked about the moment he fell in love with Rose, "Because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love, if you're already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love."

So if filming was done in Texas, there's a chance that they would never have fallen in love.

Natalia Dyer and Charlie Heaton

While the world was falling in love with ‘ Stranger Things’, the show’s co-stars Dyer and Heaton were falling for each other. As their characters on-screen romance heated up, as did their real-life feelings grow.

The pair has become official as of late December, appearing on red carpets side by side and being snapped kissing in Paris!

Strange love

Charlie was almost thrown in prison in the US. While traveling there from London for the premiere of the second season of Stranger Things. As he told People magazine: "My planned travel to the U.S. last week was affected by an issue at U.S. immigration, and I am working to rectify it as soon as possible. I do want to clarify that I was not arrested or charged with a crime, and cooperated fully with the U.S. officials at LAX."

What he forgot to mention is that he was returned to London because a sniffer dog detected some drugs in his pants. He didn't have any drugs on him, it was probably leftovers from another time.

Samira Wiley and Lauren Morelli

A whirlwind romance- Morelli was newly married in 2012 when she started working as a writer for the first season of ‘Orange is the New Black’. She claims working on forming the lesbian character’s relationship helped her come to terms with the fact that she was gay and ended it with her then husband.

Orange love

Somewhere along the way of coming out, she fell in love with Wiley who plays inmate Poussey in the show. The two tied the knot in early 2017. In an interview she gave, she said "Just having people come up to me and tell me how much they appreciate and are affected by my character and by the show... I hope that somehow this can become my ministry."

Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling

When you film a movie together that becomes the iconic romance of the time, it’s not hard to believe that the passion on-screen was more than just good acting. Indeed, the magic of ‘ the Notebook’ came to life when McAdams and Gosling started dating in 2005 to girls dispair (everyone somehow thought they had a chance with the new heartthrob on the block)

Cute love

They broke up in 2008 which apparently, was not such a shocker to those that knew them on the set of 'The Notebook'. rumor is they could not stand each pther as actors, and Gosling even asked the dicrector at a point to replace his love interest! Although they are no longer,  we will forever have their kiss when they accepted the MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss close to our hearts!

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes

These two met on the set of ‘The Place Beyond the Pines in 2011’, which happens to be Justin Bieber’s favorite movie, and unlike many many other couples on this list, have remained strong since. No loved up photoshoots, no baby announcements, hardly any red carpet appearances.

It seems as if they found each other, and locked themselves in together away from the world (can we blame them?)

Hot love

While they have been together for six years, and welcomed two gorgeous girls into the world they still manage to keep their relationship extremely private, considered by many Hollywood’s most cryptic couple.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez

Bennifer, as they were termed by the world, met on the box office bomb ‘Gigi’ back in 2003. They were smitten and even got engaged before calling it quits in 2004. Jennifer explains how hard that time was for her. She noted that the negative press surrounding the movie made her lose her sense of self and even question if she belonged in the acting business.

Latino love

Simultaneously her relationship self-destructed in front of the entire world. Can’t be easy being that famous…but Ben also did not have the greatest of times throughout this period, commenting later about the movie and the relationship: '"It could have been a bad movie no one cared about.

Angelina Jolie had a bad movie that year and no one cared. But it was because I was dating Jennifer Lopez that made it a big f–king deal.'

Dev Patel and Freida Pinto

These two are both beautiful angels, so when they paired up after their passionate on-screen performance in ‘ Slumdog Millionaire’, it seemed too good to be true. While they met on set in 2007, the couple only started officially in 2009.

But like Frost so wisely says, ‘ Nothing gold can stay’, and they called it quits to the disappointment of their adoring fans in 2014.

Love again

Only recently Freida has opened up about what caused their relationship to come to an end, explaining she had something of a ‘quarter life crisis’ (guess it's better than waking up only at 50) where she woke up and asked herself ‘ what do I really want’? clearly, it was not Dev Patel…

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied

Portman stole the world’s attention through her electric and haunting performance in ‘Black Swan’ where she plays a demented ballerina on the verge of a break-down.

While she won an Oscar for her efforts, the actress insists that while winning the Oscar was great, finding a husband was even better!

Dance love

She met Benjamin, who worked as the choreographer of the movie, on set. They had a son in 2011 and married in 2012.

Adam Brody and Leighton Meester

These two actors played two of the most iconic teen characters that ever graced TV- the bossy Blair Waldorf and adorable Seth Cohen, so it was a fan fiction fantasy when they paired up in real life after meeting on the set of ‘The Oranges’ back in 2011.

Family love

The private couple welcomes their first child, Arlo, in 2015 and have continued to keep their romance away from the public eye.

Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton

Who can forget this weird and wonderful duo who honestly crept everyone else out a bit with their ways of showing love (like wearing vials of one another’s blood around their necks…) the pair met on the set on ‘ Pushing Tin’ in 1999 but only started dating the year after.

Fast love

It was, what one would call a quick and passionate romance, and they tied the knot after only 3 months of seeing one another. They divorced in 2003.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson

Before things got messy, these two where seems to be picture perfect. Meeting on the set of one of the most popular teenage franchises to exist, ‘Twilight’, they had instant chemistry and dated for nearly four years between 2008 and 2012.however, their relationship came to a scandalous end when Stewart was snapped locking lips with ‘ Snow White and the Huntsman’ director Rupert Sanders.

Moon love

As you can imagine, things went downhill from there and the two splits for good.

Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev

Yet another vampire romance, this gorgeous pair met on the set of the TV vampire drama ‘The Vampire Diaries’. Although he was not her on-screen love interest in the beginning, off-screen sparks certainly began to fly.

Vampire love

Although they only dated officially from 2011 to 2013, we still fantasize about the beautiful babies this unfairly good-looking couple would have brought into the world!

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens

A romance that was so sweet, it made honey look bitter- the world could not believe their luck when Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez… I mean Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens began dating after filming ‘ High School Musical’ together in 2006.

Kiddy love

We got to see countless adorable pics of the smitten pair until they broke up in 2010, causing a generation of swooning young girls to mourn the loss of this duo.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner

The world is in awe of how elegantly and supportively these two have handled their divorce and stayed active in co-parenting their three children- but let’s look back at how Bennifer #2 first began. The beautiful duo met on the set if ‘ Daredevil’ in 2003, but while they had instant chemistry, they didn’t start dating until 2004 after Bennifer #1 was no longer.

Hero love

The couple enjoyed 1- years of marriage before calling it quits in 2015. They are still very close but it seems that it's a strong friendship bond.

Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen

These stars met on the set of the film ‘Jumper’ in 2007, and after a quick romance were engaged in 2008 although they never married. What followed was years of an on-again, off again relationship and one beautiful daughter, Briar Rose.

Jumping love

It was confirmed only a few months ago that this come is finally and officially done for good, though they remain committed to raising their daughter on good terms.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds

This beautiful duo has provided the world with some of the cutest moments ever displayed by a Hollywood couple. From trolling each other on social media to the adorable compliments Reynolds is never shy of giving his wife. Though they didn’t start dating until 2011, they met while filming ‘ Green Lantern’ in 2010.

Green love

Since then they have gotten married and had two daughters, James and Ines. They remain a favourite couple due to their authentic and beautiful love, and we all wait to watch them walk down the red carpet arm in arm.

Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow

It seemed their matching haircuts where just too perfect to last, but in those few golden years together, they certainly were a heartthrob worthy couple!

Hot love #2

Pitt and Paltrow met way back when on the set of ‘ Se7en’, they even spent some time engaged but ultimately called it quits in 1997 because Gwen didn’t feel ready.

She has since admitted that she has a knack for ruining relationships and only at age 40 realized what it meant to be in a serious and committed relationship and how to give yourself over.

Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser

These two baby-faced stars met in 2012 when Alexis guest-starred in ‘Mad Men’ as Beth Dawes, the character who has an affair with Vincent’s character.

Sometimes real chemistry is clear when you watch it on screen, and for their short and steamy romance, everyone could tell there must be something real going on.

Real life love

Although their on-screen romance didn’t work out, in real life it had a fairy-tale ending with the two getting married in 2014 and welcoming a son the world the following year.

Grace Gealey and Trai Byers

Byers and Gealey met on the set of ‘Empire’ and although on screen, Grace’s character Anika has flings with Lucious and Hakeem, in real life she is all about Andre.

Their co-stars have said that their attraction and chemistry was obvious to everyone from day one, and they were just waiting for the stars to see it themselves.

Long time love

The pair were married in 2017, but Gealy admits she had to think long and hard before deciding to date a co-star: “I think that if you do get involved – I keep wanting to say on set – I think that if you do get involved at your workplace you have to know that this is something that you want to be invested in, and this is just not just something that is frivolous and fleeting,” Gealey said on Fab Life.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

Probably the most iconic of on-set hook-ups, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie met on the set of the super sexy and action-packed film ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith back in 2004. Who can forget that steamy dancing scene in the rain? the chemistry was palpable! What exactly makes this love story so juicy?

Well, they happen to be two of the most beautiful people in the world, and then there’s the fact that Pitt was married to his ‘ best friend’, Jennifer Aniston while filming.

Bye bye love

Jolie explains how nothing was planned, but their instant and strong chemistry on-set and off, paired up with the way they got along as a team, made them realize there was something special between them. Sure enough, after Pitt filed for divorce him and Jolie paired up, and shared more than 10 years of bliss, children and traveling, before calling it quits in 2016.

Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin

Moyer and Paquin met while screen-testing for everyone’s favorite TV show, ‘ True Blood’, and for these kids, it was true - love at first bite.

However, things only began to heat up when after not seeing each other for three months they reunited, Anna going from her natural brown locks to a fierce blonde beauty.

Bloody love

Moyer tells of the adorable way he started falling for his co-star after meeting her on set:
“By day three or four – oh, this is going to sound so syrupy – but I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. It was within seconds, really, and it just became a thing.”
The two tied the knot in 2010.

Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray
