The most-watched musical event of the year Pepsi Super Bowl LIII Halftime Show on CBS has been officially scheduled to take place on February 3 2019. The Game between the Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots is to decide the winner of the National Football League for the season.

The U.S pop group Maroon 5 will be the headlining performer throughout the super bowl 53 halftime show. Maroon 5 is a three-time Grammy-winning band which has followed the footprints of lady gaga, Beyonce, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Coldplay and Madonna. Rappers Travis Scott and Big Boi will be joining Maroon 5 for the event.
Travis Scott is a Grammy-nominated rapper, songwriter, singer and record producer while Big Boi who is from Atlanta would be hosting the performances at the Mercedes- Benz stadium in Atlanta.
Maroon 5 has sold above 53 million albums and 48 million singles. The band has also been nominated For 13 Grammys and won three times. In the 20- year history of the top- 40 chart, they set the record as the number one most singles by a group.

Scott Travis who is a special guest at the Super Bowl 2019 Halftime Show has been nominated for a Grammy Award six times. His most recent album ‘'Astroworld'' published on August 3, 2018, has been chosen for the Best Rap Album at the next Grammys scheduled to hold on February 10, 2019, at Staples Centre in Los Angeles.
The album ‘'Astroworld'' also authored the song ‘' Sicko Mode'' and this song is nominated the Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance.
