Jackson Kids - Where Are They Now

There is no denying that the late artist went through his fair share of adversities before he passed away. But with so much focus on Michael himself, no one noticed the kids attempting to lead normal lives. This was no easy task! They were going through their difficulties, all along.

Fans want to know: Just where are the Jackson children today? Luckily, we have been able to see the three Jackson kids more than we are familiar with recently.

In October 2021, Jackson's eldest son Prince Michael Joseph Jackson Jr gave an exclusive interview on Good Morning Britain. The 24-year-old son of the late King of Pop spoke to hosts Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins live from his home in Los Angeles about his philanthropic work and his father's legacy.

Prince Michael will be hosting the seventh Halloween fundraiser to raise money for the Heal Los Angeles Foundation. The Heal Los Angeles Foundation raises the quality of life for the inner-city youth of Los Angeles

by furnishing access to co-curricular educational initiatives that will emphasize the value of an active, healthy lifestyle, and provide the tools needed to earn an education.

"The party is a fundraiser and 100 percent of the proceeds that we raise from the event goes all towards our programming at the Heal Los Angeles Foundation," Prince explained.

"Our programs are all geared towards providing educational initiatives towards underserved youth of Los Angeles, both in hard educational skills,

as well as soft educational skills that aren't necessarily covered in school, but that I benefitted a lot from lessons my father taught me and just continuing that loving, kind of nurturing tradition amongst children."

Prince continued: "I'm extremely fortunate to be in a place that I am to be able to give back to my community which is very important to me.

From a young age, my father was very adamant about giving back to the community, it's a drive that he instilled in myself and my siblings."

Charlotte then asked the young man what it was like growing up in the spotlight and having Michael Jackson as a father.

"I think human beings are very resilient so a lot of people expect that kind of answer to be very extravagant and different but

that's how I was raised and that's kind of all I knew, so that was normal for me," he replied.

"But when it comes to the Foundation and Michael Jackson as my father and him as a parent, he is inextricably tied to the Foundation

because the positive experiences he gave me, and that he made an effort to give me in my childhood, really resonated and stuck with me and had positive impacts on my life and

I would like to be able to share that with the world."

Only a couple of weeks later, his brother Prince Michael II decided to invite Good Morning Britain into his home for an exclusive interview.

Prince Michael II is the youngest of the three and used to be nicknamed Blanket. He now goes by the name Bigi.

Bigi, now 19, has usually shunned media attention but allowed “Good Morning Britain” into his home ahead of his annual Halloween “Thriller” party.

Bigi is using his voice to call on world leaders to tackle the problem of climate change as COP26 begins.

During the interview, Jackson showed off his father’s famous memorabilia, namely the outfits from the iconic “Thriller” music video as he walked and talked in the halls with a reporter to spread

climate change awareness as well as discuss his dad’s lasting legacy.

"There’s a lot of history in this house and studio here, and that’s what he was all about and that’s just kind of what each of us wants to do, kind of make some things that

people hopefully enjoy, but also can benefit their lives," Jackson said.

While the family has maintained its Hayvenhurst estate, Bigi now has a place of his own after paying $2.62 million for a house in Calabasas, California, last year.

"But when it comes to the Foundation and Michael Jackson as my father and him as a parent, he is inextricably tied to the Foundation because

the positive experiences he gave me, and that he made an effort to give me in my childhood, really resonated and stuck with me and had positive impacts on my life and

I would like to be able to share that with the world."

He said it is up to his generation to ebb climate change and knows it is a big responsibility.

“I do think it’s important that we all know about it and I think we have some work to do,” he continued, “but our generation knows how important it is.”

This was all in the months leading up towards the opening of MJ: The Musical, which had its premiere on Broadway.

The musical follows Jackson, played by Broadway newcomer Myles Frost, as he prepares to embark on his now-iconic Dangerous world tour,

which spanned from 1992 to 1993 - grossing $140million across 69 shows.

As USA Today reported, the show takes place in 1992, before Jackson's "Dangerous" tour, in a rehearsal studio in Los Angeles.

It includes many of the singer's hits, including tracks from his albums "Thriller," "Bad," "Dangerous," and "Off The Wall."

Among a star-studded audience, Michael Jackson's children Paris, Prince, and Bigi were in attendance.

Paris Jackson and Prince Jackson walked the red carpet at the event, posing together in front of a poster depicting one of the Playbill illustrations for the show: a silhouette of Jackson.

Prince had previously attended a preview performance of the musical in December 2021.

Their younger brother, 19-year-old Prince Michael "Bigi" Jackson II doesn't appear to have walked the red carpet with his siblings.

He does show up in one of Paris' Instagram story posts from the evening, a video that shows her, Prince, and Bigi walking out of the theater together.

During the musical, Paris was seen tearing up in the audience during an emotional duet of “I’ll Be There” in the show’s first act, spies said.

Paris was seen wiping tears from her eyes after resting her head on one of her brothers’ shoulders during the emotional number.

She then dabbed at her eyes with a tissue, according to a theatergoer.

Paris was also later seen at the edge of her seat during the show’s climactic second act, sources said.

But she was whisked out of the theater — along with her brothers — before the lights went up for the show’s curtain call and a standing ovation.

Thriller forever, it's safe to say that the world was pretty dedicated to Michael Jackson for decades. The King of Pop spent his life in the public eye, all starting at just age 13 with Jackson 5! An early kick-starter before his solo days, that's for sure.

This exposure of the Jackson kids has got us wondering about where it all began. How did they cope with the highs and lows, the ups and downs? Each child has their own story, of course!

Read on to see the shocking, behind-the-scenes experiences, next!

Friendship Meets Fatherhood

Flashback to the 1990's: Michael was dating girlfriend Debbie Rowe. Oddly, Michael would later reflect that they were not in love — just great friends! He liked her as a person, he explained.

Fans may not know that the two were dating when Michael was still with his former wife, Lisa Marie Presley. What's more, Debbie got pregnant. A quick divorce and a new marriage were in order! In 1997, she went into labor. Was it successful, the first time?

MJ's First Born

Indeed, it was! Delighted to welcome a beautiful baby boy into the world, the newly weds decided to name him Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. after his father.

Unsurprisingly, this was a little redundant, day to day. It became too complicated to have two Michael's in the house, so mom and dad decided a nickname would be better. Early on, baby number one became 'Prince'. Was that the only confusion going on at the time, though?

Hello, Michael Joseph Jackson Jr.

The truth is, little Prince was born into a chaotic situation. With a famous father constantly in the tabloids, it could not have been an easy beginning.

One can only imagine how difficult it is to grow up in the public eye, for anyone! Michael and Debbie did their best to keep Jr. out of the spotlight, but even their best efforts were no match for the paparazzi. Was the family discouraged?

A New Baby Sister

Well, maybe not! Michael Jackson Jr. didn't remain an only child for long. On the 3rd of April in 1998, Michael and Debbie welcomed their second child and their first daughter!

Paris Jackson was born in Beverley Hills, California. It certainly appeared that the American Dream was coming together to outside eyes. Things would soon begin to crumble, despite these assumptions. How, and why?

Meet Paris Jackson

Paris Jackson remains Michael's only daughter, and to this day she is probably the most famous out of the Jackson children. Where did her name come from, though?

The answer is logical: That's where she was conceived! And like her origins story, Paris was born into a world of luxury and glamour. To protect her from the press, it was reported that she had to wear a mask in public. Her brother, too! Not so glam, but extreme times require extreme measures. Did this bring a little more peace to the Jackson home?

That Messy Divorce

Unfortunately, it soon became known that Michael was only with Debbie in the first place to have children. What's more, he was pushed into marrying her because of her parents' religious beliefs! They really did not approve of having children out of wedlock, and this seemed like a quick solution.

In 1999, only a year after Paris was born, Debbie filed for divorce. She stated the reason was media pressure, and the custody battle began. Michael actually fought for full custody, and he won! Debbie got a great financial settlement. Did this mother regret it later?

A Mother Who Didn't Care

It must have been hard enough for Prince and Paris to be famous with such a public family divorce. But to have a mother who barely fought for custody? Now that's just too much!

Michael knew that Debbie didn't have a real interest in parenthood, and she gladly relinquished her custodial rights in 2001. It is reported that she tried to have that decision reversed in 2006, but it didn't go anywhere. Some said she only did it for publicity!

The Third Child

Michael seemed to love being a father, though. He understood that he wasn't the typical guy who could have a child the normal way, and alternative plans were made.

Without a sweetheart at the time, he decided to have another child via surrogate. An increasingly popular choice, these days! In February 2002, Michael welcomed Prince Michael Jackson into the world. Yes, another Michael. Baby number 3, a great success!

Jackson Three

At this point, the three Jackson children's only claim to fame was being the offspring of the King Of Pop. And maybe that was for the best!

The nicknaming game continued, since the boys had such similar names. Along with 'Prince', the youngest Michael was referred to as 'Blanket'. It was a nickname given to him by his father, strange as it may sound. Did Michael, Michael, Michael, and Paris spend a lot of time together at this stage?

An Unspeakable Tragedy

Whatever the plan was, it didn't happen. In June 2009, the world was completely shaken by tragic news. Michael Jackson was found dead at home, right in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles!

The autopsy revealed acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication, and questions swirled about his prescribing doctor. For some time, the only thing anyone could talk about was the shocking and sudden death of the great King of Pop. Not surprising it made the news!

Goodbye, Daddy

Family, friends and fans were absolutely devastated by the loss of Michael Jackson at the premature age of 50. Of course, the worst pain of all went to the three children he left behind.

They were all so young when they lost their father: Prince was 12, Paris was 11, and Blanket only 7. And to lose it all  at such a young age in front of the world is a double challenge few endure. How did they manage the pain?

Claiming Custody

Losing their father so suddenly was not the only problem. It turns out that the children really didn't have a mother to support them when their only involved parent passed away. Debbie seemed completely MIA!

Soon, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge gave custody of all three children to Katherine Jackson, Michael's mother. Unusual, for sure. But this family was no ordinary bunch! Was grandma able to sooth and guide them through it all?

Paris Crashes

Paris seemed to take her fathers death the hardest. Years later, she revealed quite a bit in a Rolling Stone interview. After her father passed away, her life took a turn for the worse.

Though home-schooled her whole life, Paris decided to try a regular school for 7th grade. But she couldn't fit in! It seems that's when her self esteem issues started, and she began hanging around a much older crowd. How did that turn out, without fatherly supervision?

A Taste of Bad Behavior

According to Paris: “I was doing a lot of things that 13-, 14-, 15-year-olds shouldn’t do...I tried to grow up too fast, and I wasn’t really that kind of a person.”

All people need at least a little time to be innocent and young, but it seems that was cut short in front of camera spotlight for this gal. The friends she later sought out did not make things any better, either. A secret struggle developed by the teen years, but what was it?

A Cry For Help

When Paris was only 15, it became known that she had attempted suicide. It was 2013, and rumors spread that she slashed her wrists and took 20 pills of Motrin! In an attempt to escape her unbearable depression, Paris took a dangerous risk.

Later, she explained: “It was self-hatred, low self-esteem, thinking that I couldn’t do anything right, not thinking I was worthy of living anymore.” And was that really her only self-harm, behind the scenes?

Behind Closed Doors

No, it was later confirmed that Paris had been cutting herself for years. Shockingly, she kept it from her family!

She had also attempted to take her own life before, multiple times. She says that only one attempt was publicly known, but a lot more was going on outside of the tabloids. There often is more to the story than meets the eye, and this was no exception. What may have led her to this struggle, besides what everyone knew?

Stolen Innocence

Paris actually revealed that when she was only 14 years old, she was sexually assaulted by a complete stranger. So terrible, really!

Paris explained: “I don’t wanna give too many details...but it was not a good experience at all, and it was really hard for me. And, at the time, I didn’t tell anybody.” That must have been an impossible secret to keep, and it seemed that it couldn't stay in for long. Perhaps the cutting was a release, in a way?

Rumor Has It

Michael Jackson continued to be a topic of discussion across the globe, and not all of it was pretty. Paris constantly found herself in negative situations!

Reports surfaced claiming that Michael Jackson was not the biological father to his children at all! But Paris strongly denied this: “He will always be my father. He never wasn’t, and he never will not be...People that knew him really well say they see him in me, that it’s almost scary.” Did Prince agree?

Paparazzi Pile On

Prince has also had his fair share of struggles with the media. When Michael Jackson passed away, the rumors that Michael was not his biological father certainly caught his attention.

How could they not? Although there was no doubt that Debbie Rowe was his mother, the public began to question his genetics. Identity is so important to human beings, and this must have been confusing. What was Prince's response to these wild assertions?

Taking The High Road

Prince has chosen to turn a blind eye to what people say about his parents. How does he answer the charges?

In 2017, he shared: "Every time someone asks me that, I ask, 'What's the point? What difference does it make?' Specifically to someone who's not involved in my life. How does that affect your life? It doesn't change mine." Does Blanket agree, by the way?

That Balcony Incident

It's to forget one incident, most of all. When Blanket was born in 2002, Michael was seen dangling him off the balcony of his room at the Hotel Adlon in Berlin with a cloth over his face. Yikes, indeed!

Four stories above ground level, this was widely seen as reckless and crazy. Although Michael apologized for the incident and referred to it as a "terrible mistake", the public has been concerned with the surrogate baby ever since. What is he up to, these days?

Getting the Last Laugh

There must have a lot of confusion about this strange name, for the other schoolkids. According to Radar Online, Blanket changed his name as soon as he started the prestigious Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, California. What was his new identity?

The youngest Jackson is said to have changed his nickname to Bigi. It's another unusual name, for sure, but hopefully it prevented bullying! What did his mom think of this new identity?

Mommy Dearest

Maybe Blanket had little feedback. During sister Paris's tell-all in The Rolling Stone, she admitted that she never knew she had a mother till she was 10: “When I was really, really young, my mom didn’t exist."

Eventually, she realized a man can’t give birth and probed her dad for answers: “And he’s like, ‘Yeah.’ And I was like, ‘What’s her name?’ And he’s just like, ‘Debbie,'. And I was like, ‘Ok, well, I know the name.’” Super strange! Did Debbie stay distant?

Debbie Rowe Returns

Her grandmother and nannies may have been a supportive part of her life, but it wasn't enough. After Michael passed away, Paris began researching in order to meet her biological mother, Debbie Rowe.

She shared: “I’ve had a lot of mother figures...But by the time my mom came into my life, it wasn’t a ‘mommy’ thing. It’s more of an adult relationship." What was her attitude towards her dad, as an adult?

Rewriting History

When Michael's death was reported to the public, some claimed it was a suicidal overdose. Michael's children always believed differently, and made an effort to say so.

Prince, Paris and Blanket were not able to lay their father's memory to rest, knowing the false speculation. Only a formal investigation could clear that up! Soon, a new issue was introduced: What was the family doctor doing giving Michael all those pills, anyway?

An Open Wound

In February 2010, an official coroner's report on Michael Jackson's cause of death was made to the public, revealing the acute intoxication. Aided by his personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, it seems Michael was on a lot!

After a police investigation exposed that Dr. Murray was not licensed to prescribe these in California, Michael's death was officially declared a homicide. At trial, the doc was found guilty! The result: A four-year prison sentence. For the kids, old wounds were opened during the process. How could they not be?

In Father's Footsteps

In 2013, Michael Jr. made his first appearance as a media personality as a guest correspondent for the entertainment news program Entertainment Tonight.

On the show, Michael Jr. interviewed James Franco, Zach Braff, and director Sam Raimi about their film Oz the Great and Powerful. Since then, he has expressed an interest in getting more involved in show business: "I'm looking to become well-rounded as a producer, director, screenwriter and actor." And what about music, the original family biz?

Like MJ, Like Son

Prince has since appeared in front of the camera, as well as behind. But in what capacity, in the back room?

Production, of course. He revealed: “Music is a big part of my life...It shaped who I am because of my family, but I’ve always wanted to go into production...My dad would ask me what I wanted to do and my answer was always producing and directing.” Is that all, though?

Musical Moves

Prince has expressed several times that he shares the love his late father had for music. Reports say he has taken lessons to pursue his music dreams!

Observers have yet to hear anything come from him, though. It has to be a lot of pressure to follow up as Michael Jackson's son! Those dancing shoes might even be impossible to fill. Has sister Paris tried to get into entertainment, too?

Fashion Forward

These days, Paris is attempting to make a name for herself as a model and actress. And it looks good, so far!

Paris Jackson flaunted a fabulous figure in a variety of ensembles for a Penshoppe photo shoot. Donning halter tops and striped leggings, observers agreed that she looked beautiful. Has she she gotten a lot of repeat gigs since her debut?

Paris Vs. Paris

Actually, she has! Paris also appeared in the Channel project at the Eiffel Tower, where she stood next to big names such as Bella Hadid and Caitlin Jenner.

Beyond that shoot, she signed a contract with IMG models. It happens to be the agency of Kaia Gerber, Hayley Baldwin and Sisters Hadid, as well as Carly Kloss, Alessandro Ambrosio and Gisele Bündchen. But wait: Is this what Michael would have wanted for his only daughter?

Michael's Masks

It's hard to say, really. The public will never forget the early years where family privacy was his number one concern.

It was well-known that Michael would have his children wear masks when venturing outside. Although it seemed odd, he did this in an attempt to protect their identity. Now, Paris was throwing that to the wayside as she graced the cover of magazines! Was it just time?

Strange Memories

Now that the children are grown, they have reflected on their masked lifestyle. Was it comfortable for them?

Prince explained: “My dad spoke to me like an adult. He told us the reason for the masks was he wanted us to have our own life without him...I don’t think I ever thought about if other kids lived like that when I was younger. But once I knew who he was, I realized it wasn’t normal.” Was that the only thing that didn't seem normal, back then?

Back to Neverland

In recent years, a documentary aired about the early years of their lives. But it didn't focus on the Jackson kids at all. Instead, other children were interviewed.

Deep and disturbing details were revealed about two victims who claim to have been molested by the late pop star. The Jackson children have not responded in full to these accusations. True or not, it must have been confusing to have strangers saying such hateful things about one's father! Were they able to cope?

Rare Appearances

For a while, fans went without seeing any pictures of Blanket. But the other siblings have remained active with their Instagram pages, even with the renewed interest in their father's alleged crimes.

Paris updates fans with all kinds of snapshots on her social media accounts, and it appears she is at least trying to put on a happy face for the world. But she has been featured in a docu-series about self harm, for full disclosure. Life is complicated, and Paris knows it better than most!

Business Boy

Paris and Prince even seem to enjoy limelight these days, and often go to red carpet events. But what has Prince been doing besides that?

Surprise, surprise: He loves school! Yes, the family is already incredibly wealthy, and maybe Prince didn't need to go to college to improve his income. Still, he worked hard and graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Business. Did his extended family support this more traditional track?

Meet Aunt Janet

A quick review: Janet Jackson is the late Michaels's sister, and she has also made a career for herself outside of Jackson 5.

Despite the lurid allegations, Janet always expressed her love for her brother and his children. In a special interview ahead of his 10-year death anniversary, she said her brother's legacy 'will continue'. Truthfully, it's hard to imagine fans boycotting his hits even if the charges prove true. What did the family do, just in case?

Defending Their Name

Auntie Janet has always been upfront about the fact that she never believed any of the rumors about her brother. She continues to reinforce a positive perspective about Michael with the kids, even now.

In response to HBO's Leaving Neverland, the Jackson family released their own documentary on the subject. It aimed to dismiss the allegations against Michael altogether. Janet has described all the drama as a "pathetic attempt" to make money off of the singer. Is she right?

Legal Changes

It remains to be seen, and the estate is currently intact. Paris and Prince were now beyond the age where they need a guardian, and life went on. But Blanket was still a minor!

Bigi needed stability and guidance. He still required guardianship after his siblings left, and the question over who would be responsible arose. What was decided, and why?

Life with Granny

The trauma of losing a father is no joke, and mom missing is a big deal. The children grew up under the care of their grandmother for many years, Katherine Jackson. But this turned out to be another temporary solution.

Even though all three say have a very strong bond with the extended family, custody was later transferred to their cousin TJ, and he remained Bigi's guardian until his 18th birthday. Maybe grandma was really getting old!

Close As Can Be

Prince and Paris have always been open about how exceptionally close they are. Both say they will always be best friends before siblings!

According to Prince: "Me and my siblings get along really well—especially my sister....she’s grown so much and she’s been able to really step up. I don’t really see myself as her older brother. We’re equal partners when it comes down to it. Bigi is just so mature for his age. It’s a pretty strong bond.” Today, both are very protective over their little brother!

Matching Tats

To prove they really are BFF buddies, the older siblings got a matching tattoo of Yin & Yang as a symbol of their love and friendship. Now, it's official — tattoo official!

They even work together, sometimes. Paris and Prince have even teamed up to design mazes and a haunted house for the second annual "Costume for a Cause event". Very nice, Jacksons!

Leaving Neverland

In the meantime, the public was shaken and continued to discuss the HBO documentary about how Michael Jackson would often sexually abuse little boys.

Extremely descriptive and disturbing, no one was distracted for long by the positive statements of his own kids. In recent years, the dramatic implications of the new film have returned to a court setting. What is going on with the issue, at present?

Standing By Their Father

The children did forcefully respond to the documentary, again. They declared that the whole production and every rumor made about their father is yet an attempt to gain publicity and money!

Their own doco was released on YouTube, titled Neverland Firsthand: Investigating the Michael Jackson Documentary. In detail, it completely denies the claims made by the now grown Wade Robson and James Safechuck. Ongoing attempts to sue the estate for damages mean public interest has only increased. How is Paris spending her time, during the madness?

A New Love Life

Paris has actually confirmed that she is bisexual, and she model Cara De Levigne for a bit. She has also been seen with men, and is currently in a relationship with Gabriel Glenn.

The pair is reportedly discussing marriage, and according to sources close to the family, there are worries that they will rush into a wedding without a prenuptial agreement. With such a big estate, it's always a family concern! Will Paris listen?

Settling Down

Marriage might really be happening soon, fans. According to a quiet source, “Everyone is nervous they’ll elope" and they are "frantically trying to talk sense into her.”

Paris has been described as "super headstrong" and unlikely to change her mind on the matter. Only time will tell, but she has been dating Mr. Glenn for about a year. What does long lost mom Debbie think of all of this, though?

Sad News Again

After many years of having a weak and complicated relationship with her biological mother, it seems that Paris has mended that lost connection. But this mother-daughter journey was about to get more complicated, still!

Out of the blue, Debbie was diagnosed with breast cancer shortly after a reconciliation. This was a big shock to Paris! And of course, to Debbie. Today, she manages the condition in her 60's, and has not yet lost the battle. Best of luck, Debbie Rowe!

Demi Lovato Drama

Now what about friends, for Paris? Everyone needs a shoulder to lean on, and it seem the very famous Demi was in that role for some time. Was it healthy, though?

Demi actually experienced her own overdose at one point, and some claimed this caused Paris to experience more mental problems. But Paris made sure to shut down the rumors immediately, denying the idea. What has she admitted to, apart form this episode?

Rehab Was Real

In 2013, Paris was checked into rehab for anxiety and depression. These days, people are more open about it! Still, it wasn't something totally normal to do.

Family and friends were very supportive, but Paris was still young and confused. She has since revealed that she felt pretty detached from reality when she got out. Was it a successful treatment program for the long term, at least?

A Second Chance

Pehaps not. There have been reports that Paris has recently checked herself back into rehab, sadly.

How has she explained it, though? Paris actually says that after a busy year of work, she just needed some time to be alone and reboot herself. Could be true, but fans do wonder if there is more to the story based on her recent history. What does little Bigi think about all of the new drama, as he grows up?

A Life Without Parents

Now that Bigi is over the legal age, there is no longer a need for him to have a guardian. Sounds liberating!

Or is it? Bigi's age now means he will continue to lead a life without mom or dad, and that isn't as free as it may seem. His siblings have expressed that they care for their little brother, trying to fill the void of parental absence. Have they managed to do this, at all?

Doco Daze

Since the documentary Leaving Neverland aired, a family relative explained that it had a terrible effect on the boy once known as Blanket. And how could it not?

Michael Jackson's nephew, Taj, has revealed that Bigi is not reacting well. In a recent interview, he explained: “Bigi is the most talkative kid at school and he isn’t talking any more. We’re all worried about him.” Pretty concerning to hear, really.

More Ink, Please

And back to Paris: There is another addiction going on, right in front of the world. Is it unhealthy?

Maybe, maybe not! Paris has been very open about her addiction to getting tattoos. Is it a coping mechanism, in some way? She already has over 50 tattoos, most of them being tributes to her father. Even the inside of her lip has seen the needle! All things considered, it's not the worst vice. And it doesn't require any rehab!

Secret Favoritism

Paris has said in a few interviews that she knows parents can’t favor one child over another, but she does believe her father enjoyed being around her a lot more than her brothers. What a statement!

Paris says that this was the case because she was the girl in the family. Maybe there was something to that? Allegedly, Michael's obsession with his daughter even led to social troubles for the young gal after his death. It was quite a learning curve, all on her own!

The Notorious Bigi

After Bigi went through a rough patch following the death of his father, his family was concerned as to how he would adjust to the real world after living his whole life in Neverland.

Thankfully, he made it through. According to grandfather Joe Jackson, he is the only one in the family with the potential to be as big as his dad. Very interesting, but still too early to tell!

Decade Review

This June marked 10 years since Michael Jackson's shocking death. Although many remember that day as if it were yesterday, 10 years is a lot of time to grieve, heal and grow.

The late MJ's children have been forging their own paths under the spotlight for over a decade since the fatal drug overdose. Friends and family have a lot to say about the journey, of course. Is it mostly positive, or negative?

Family Ties

A source close to the clan reflected in People Magazine: “Things were very difficult for them after Michael passed away...But it’s amazing to see how far they’ve come.” Indeed, it is!

Troubling accusations tarnish their father's legacy and affect them on a personal level. But despite this, all three “are all in a good place at this 10-year mark". Great news, Jackson kids!

Future Prince

Although he graduated with a business administration degree, Prince is considering a career as a producer or director. He even started a movie review channel on YouTube!

According to a friend: “He’s so charismatic and well-spoken, [so] he would be great in front of the camera as well as a host...He’s very easy-going and makes everyone around him feel immediately at ease.” A great quality, no doubt!

Prince These Days

And besides his business degree and YouTube channel, Prince tries to keep things positive with modern photo journaling.

With has a fun and lively Instagram feed,  he regularly shares pictures of his adorable dog and his motorcycling hobby. He sometimes links to collaborations on the movie review project, like a recent video with brother Bigi. A clever cross promotion!

Bros Before Shows

A source close to the pair revealed a bit about their brotherly bond these days: “Prince and Bigi are best friends...They share a lot of interests like science and sci-fi.”

They seemed to have a lot of chemistry when they reviewed Avengers: Endgame on YouTube, too! Video doesn't lie, and these young men love and support one another despite their past challenges. It's family first, for the Jackson boys.

Paris Sings Now

Paris is in her early 20's and primarily gaining fame for her career as a model and a bit of acting. But big news: She's also busy singing!

According to a family friend: “She is very excited about creating music...This is her passion. She wants to do more gigs with her band.” That band is called Soundflowers, and includes her boyfriend, Gabriel Glenn. The couple that sings together, stays together!

A Difficult Year

It might appear that Paris is busy and seemingly healthy, especially on stage. But friends do report that she was the hardest hit by the Leaving Neverland documentary, out of all the kids.

Apparently she's the one who gets the most worked up over any public negativity involving the late MJ. She's very defensive about the subject and says he was and amazing dad! The public uproar has been a source of considerable menatl tension for her, undoubtedly. And by no means is it finished!

Not Okay Anymore

Yet again, difficulty struck. In March, following the release of Leaving Neverland, Paris was allegedly taken to the hospital.

There were rumors that she had stayed at the hospital following a failed suicide attempt, sadly. Since then, she has tried to spend some much needed family time with her brothers. And as usual, they were right there beside her.
