He never thought the nails would grow so long and he will be in the news for this spectacular feature. Over the years, Chillal grew his nails so long and had been recognized by many world record archives.
At the last measurement, his nails were discovered to be about 909.6 cm (29 ft. 10.1 in) in total. This is about the length of a standard bus in London. The individual nails were measured and the lengths are as follows:
Little finger: 179.1 cm

He works as a photographer back in India. It has been a long-time passion, and he has been able to cope with his photography job by using a special handle to protect his nails while working.
Asked if he had faced criticisms, he confirms that there was stiff opposition from his parents while he was growing up. They had the opinion that he would not be able to work if he continued growing his nails. Over the years, the amazing length of the nails made his hands quite handicapped because he couldn’t use them due to the weight of the nails.
When asked why he cut the nails eventually, he confirmed that the nails had caused his him to feel a lot of pain at his wrists and fingers. He claims the tips of the nails hurt all the time.
