Student Finds World Class Car in Grandmothers Garage

When living the life of a student, you need to find money – and fast. Money is hard to come by in the hours after studying, but you’ve gotta pay for the weekend somehow, right? That’s why cleaning out at your grandparents is always a decent way to get money for a few beers. However, it’s not often that when you go along to help out with your grandmother that you find something of genuine value during cleaning.

From an old vinyl to some wartime memorabilia, you might something cool. At best, you might help make a few bucks for your grandparents – and they might help you in on the reward. However, how often do you walk into the garage of a grandmother and find an untouched Lamborghini!?

That’s what happened to Eriegin, who took on the task of cleaning out her grandmother’ garage. Her grandfather had sadly passed on, and cleaning out a garage with the best part of 20 years of clutter was going to be a challenging starting point. However, she did have an inkling that they might find some good value to put light on what is obviously a tragic circumstance. What she did find, though, was quite different to what anyone might have expected.

Finding the time to do something special

While we described at the top that many students help out for money, it’s clear that Eriegin was doing this to be kind. Her grandfather had passed on, leaving her grandmother in need of a lot of help. Reading over documents and looking at the financial situation of her grandparents made her feel worried: without a material change in circumstance, her grandmother might not be able to stay at home forever.

So, she got to work, hoping to both help get the place tidied up and hoping to find something that would be worth a few bucks. Pulling back a big section of tarp, she stood, amazed, at what was at in front of her – a fresh, untouched Lamborghini.

This was among the rarest cars on the planet, too – a 1982 LP500S Lamborghini Countach!

Undriven, in good (though by no means perfect) condition and also totally ready to be sold on, this was a tremendous find. And better yet? There was a Ferrari 308 next to it!

Instead of selling these rare cars back in the day, it was clear that her grandfather had held on to them with good reason. In a flash, their financial fears were put away into the distance, with offers made on both vehicles despite their condition issues.

While in perfect condition they could probably make you close to a millionaire, these amazing strokes of luck turned the tragedy of loss and the worry of financial deprivation into a feel-good story that, at the very last, had a happy ending after the loss of what was clearly a very intelligent, caring man.

The Four Fastest Cars on the Planet Today

As one of the industries that never seems to stay still for a second, supercars are always changing. What was once seen as the crown jewel of the auto industry will quickly be seen as nothing more than a relic within a few short years. That kind of pace means that we can often pick up yesterdays’ diamonds for the price of today’s gravel.

What, though, are the present fastest cars on the planet today? What are the bank-breaking super-cars on the market that you could, in theory, drive?

Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

Capable of hitting a dizzying 268mph the Super Sport makes it easy for you to fully appreciate its unique power. Very few cars are able to hit this kind of speed range, and this was able to break the original limit of the SSC Ultimate Aero. While it might cost you a cool $1.7m to get one, it’s still a car that many would dream of driving.

So now that you know what the typical speed point is for some of the fastest cars in the world, where would you like to start?

The incredible speeds that these cars can reach makes us wonder just how fast we’ll be travelling in the next decade and beyond. Is there really any need to go faster than this? We’re sure someone will say yes!

Koenigsegg Agera RS

This number is technically the fastest car in the world, as they can 100% prove their claims. The other two are capable of hitting their speeds according to their developers, but the Agera RS can be seen doing an eye-splitting 278mph in videos.

The Swedish designers behind it have outdone their normally outstanding selves with a special model indeed. It looks like something from a sci-fi movie, too, which only helps to set the fact this is such a powerful car apart from its competitors.

SSC Tuatara

Next up is the aesthetically wonderful SSC Tuatara. This beauty is one of the top American cars, and has become a bit of a specialist in the industry. According to experts, the car is capable of hitting as high as 300mph; a whopping speed indeed.

It uses a 1,750HP twin-turbocharged V8 engine, a whole 5.9l of it. It’s a ridiculous engine power, and would make it one of the fastest cars in the world to drive if you ever managed to get lucky and land in the seat.

The Venom F5

One of the most wonderfully designed cars we’ve ever seen, the Venom F5 by Hennessey Performance Engineering might just be the fastest in the world. With a ridiculous 7.4l twin-turbocharged V8 engine, this can hit a quite silly 301mph. Imagine that kind of speed for just a second: it’s the kind of ridiculous speed that put simply, would just feel hard to really think about.

If you’ve ever seen Men in Black, then the turbo button on their car is kinda of how we’d imaging 301mph to feel like. The Venom GT is another model of theirs, and has been shown to reach as high as 270mph.

Watch: Angry Businessman Crashes Porsche Into Dealership

This is the moment a furious businessman crashes his Porsche Cayenne into the dealership following a row about buying a new Porsche Panamera Sports Turismo.

Footage from the Porsche dealership in Taichung City in West Taiwan shows the man surnamed Chu, 42, slamming his 4-million-TWD (135,000 US$) car through the front entrance, shocking the staff inside before also smashing into the front desk. Chu, who has been described as a “loyal Porsche fan”, had ordered a new Panamera Sports Turismo featuring pricey optional 4D Chassis Control from the dealership in January 2017.

The car starts at a price of 5.98 million TWD (200,000 US$) and would increase to 7.46 million TWD (250,000 US$) with the extras he wanted. The deal was arranged with the help of his assistant, and Chu paid more than 2 million TWD (67,000 US$) up front.

But when the Porsche was shipped to the island in November, it did not have any of the optional extras he had ordered. The dealership claimed the sales contract did not include the extras.

Furious, Chu refused to pay the balance for his new Panamera and demanded his deposit be returned. The dealership stood its ground and threatened to keep his deposit should he decide to breach the sales agreement, giving him five days’ notice.

The irate businessman then decided to drive his Cayenne through the entrance of the dealership in protest, with footage showing him arguing with the management staff inside.

Taichung City police, who arrested Chu minutes later, found a pickaxe and petrol in his Cayenne. It is unclear whether he planned to use the tools during the conflict.

Chu said in a public statement that he “regretted” his actions – and then bizarrely claimed he crashed into the business while swerving to avoid a car running a red light.

The incident is still under investigation, with the authorities so far revealing the businessman’s prior convictions from 10 years ago, which include burglary and fraud.

Cars That are Older Than You But Still Turn Heads

Let’s be clear, we’re not talking about supercars that used to be on calendars and posters put up in little boys rooms, we’re talking about cars that regular people bought, that were ahead of their time. Some of these cars are driven today, but mostly by enthusiasts and collectors. They were cool back in the day while they were still in production, and they are cool now. Some of these cars haven’t been mentioned as best cars by some car magazine, they are told to be the best by the drivers that drove them.

Mercedes – Benz R129 SL500

There is actually nothing to say about this car that could, even closely, describe the feeling you have behind the wheel. Numbers from the specs suggest that it’s a car, but if you didn’t see the car, you would imagine something different. We won’t talk about numbers, but here are a few comparisons for you to understand why this car made it to the list. It weighs over two tons, it has more power than a military Hummer, it’s quiet, top speed exceeds the speed of a plane lifting off and it’s a convertible. That’s enough technical stuff and so far it looks good, but what about the exterior? Does the car look good as well as it seems on paper? By some, it exceeds it. Some say it’s a masterpiece. Words can`t describe the look of this car, so just look at it in the picture below.
