Apple Soon to Be Worth $1 Trillion

There have been so many speculations about Apple’s real worth, and soon we will not need to make any more guesses because Apple will soon be declared the first Company to be valued at $1 trillion. Well, if things continue to go as planned.

According to the reports, the current value of Apple is $940 billion. It is only a matter of months before a huge achievement will be recorded by the company. This is great news for investors; we expect a rush for Apple’s shares while efforts will be made to manage the stock price from rising too high.

The future of Apple was quite uncertain after the passing of Steve Jobs in 2011, but since Tim Cook took over the reins of the company, there has been an appreciation in the company’s value by an estimated $300bn.

So while Apple leads the pack at the moment, let’s have a look at some other companies that have been recorded immense increment in their value. From tech giants to oils businesses, the list goes across companies that have built a solid reputation in their markets. There is Aramco to watch; the Saudi Oil Business is projected to be valued at $2 trillion after its public offer next year. We are also looking at Amazon, Google, Facebook, etc. these companies are expected to declare high figure in the coming year.

Apparently, a bulk of this weight lies in the tech industry. After suffering a hit in 2002, the stocks of tech companies have regained a massive momentum in the global markets. The characteristic trend among these tech companies is steady growth, innovation, and a continuing struggle to stay ahead of the competition. From this perspective, we can expect more profits to be made while these companies deploy their best marketing plans to attract more customers.

Apparently, the marketing dynamics have been in favor of the tech companies. Technology is being widely accepted, and there is a demand for more features which customers are willing to pay for in new products.

Apple has indicated its interests in continuing along the line of providing more software services in addition to the sales of smartphones. Is this a response to the fall in sales figures for smartphones? However, it will be a good strategy if the users are not willing to buy new phones, but they want more software for their old smartphones.

Confirming this new trend, Tim Cook in his statement said that the revenue generated from the App store and other services such as Apple music, iCloud service, and the new Apple Pay service have been exceptional. While it is an indication that the Apple customers remain loyal and committed, the revenue generated indicates the main interests of the customers.

There is a lot Apple can do for its huge user base. The addition of more value can increase the global patronage of all its services. Focusing on developing and improving other highly demanded services will also have a positive impact on iPhone sales.

We anticipate a lot of new additions in the iOS 12; if our speculations are right, the new operating system will introduce App upgrades and new features that will impress the customers.

We are so excited about the future, the global tech industry looks set for a ‘showdown,’ while Apple may be the first tech company to achieve the $1 trillion valuation, we are hearing about great things happening in the Chinese tech industry regarding smartphones, software, Apps and other tech-based services similar to what Apple is offering. Will brand loyalties be tested? In a few months, we will know exactly what the options provide.

The Hidden Horror of the Beloved Otter

As one of the most adorable animals in the world, few animals inspire such forced choruses of “Awww!” than the beloved otter. However, behind those cheery little smiles and fluffy faces, there lies a hidden horror… an evil so profound that it’s quite hard to put into words. You see, the otter is among the most vicious little blighters in the animal kingdom.

You see, the giant otters of South America are some of the most fearsome animals around. Despite being part of the same species that gives us the adorable river otter, you can find that the giant otter is one son of a b**** animal.

For one, otters are VERY frisky when it comes to sexual conduct. They tend to be quite commonly seen holding their partner’ head underwater, biting their partner in the face and even KILLING their partner by being so god-damn rowdy. Add in the fact that they have been known to, uh, forcefully mate with other species like baby seals, and it’s easy to see why otters aren’t quite as cute as some would expect…

Capable of being as tall as 5’6”, they provide a very fearsome opponent even for a human. They tend to get palm-sized fists, and hunt in ravenous packs to make sure they can eat all they can. They munch on other vicious animals, too, turning snakes and crabs into dinner. They have teeth that are hard as nails, they don’t mind fighting and have no problem dealing some serious damage when called upon.

Not only is the giant otter a fearsome foe, but they seem to actually enjoy the experience. Few other mammal breeds get a divine pleasure out of killing, but they seem to quite enjoy wiping the floor with just about anything they come across. In 2016, a perfect example was provided: a gang of otters were at “Jungle World”, a popular exhibit that has some otters in alongside some monkeys. When one monkey gets too close to the water, the little otters spring out and pull him under the water, drowning the poor monkey.

It’s horrific, and there are other reports of otters doing the same kind of vicious murder tactics elsewhere, too. They also love to fight humans, too, by making us contract what is known as Valley Disease. It’s capable of causing everything from lesions in the bones to fever and inflammation in the heart and the brain.

It’s made by the southern sea otter, and it can be turned against unfortunate humans if they are not sure what they are dealing with. Few animals in the world are quite as wonderfully adorable to look at but then so viciously capable of doing real damage. Next time you see an otter, keep your distance!

If all the cute photos didn’t convince you, here are some photos of an otter attacking an alligator:

Woman Asked To Prove She’s Not a Robot – in Real Life

Whenever we are making an account online, purchasing something from a website or just signing in, we are often required to verify ourselves as humans. It’s called Captcha. In some cases, there are alphabets of upper and lower cases with a few numbers and we are required to type them down correct. While in other cases we are required to select pictures that relate to the given word above and then check the box “I’m not a robot”.

Well everyone is used to this practice because safety is key. So the site needs to make sure that you are human. But have you ever thought you will check the box in real life, on a piece of paper? Well, I guess not. But this happened to a woman who went to buy a new car. She had to sign some documents and then came to this page where she had to check the box “I’m not a robot”. This is quite surprising, isn’t it?

Marci Robin was as surprised as we are right now. She had never imagined in her life that she would have to prove someone by signing on the paper that she is a human. She wondered why the car dealer can’t see that she is a human, a girl and not a robot or something else. Well, Marci took and pen and checked the “I’m not a robot” box to prove that she is a real human being.

Marci questioned about this as if this might be an error. But she found out that this is the company’s corporate policy and it isn’t a onetime error. The policy requires the car dealership to replicate all documents that were on the online website to real paper. So all documents had this “I’m not a robot” checkbox included, because when purchasing online, people check this box.

Well, it is still strange because a human eye can certainly distinguish between a human and a robot. The technological world is progressing very fast, in the near future there might be robots that are difficult to distinguish from real humans so more documents will be needed to be signed. Let’s see what the future holds for us.

80’s Teen Idol Corey Feldman

Corey Feldman was the most popular and recognizable teen actor during the 1980’s. He was merely a toddler when he started in show business via a Mcdonald’s commercial. His first TV appearance was in the series “Bad News Bears”. But his role in the movie “The Goonies”, sealed his place in 80’s pop culture. He also starred in the hit movie “Stand By Me” as well as “The Lost Boys”.

He is currently trying his hand in music as a singer and is also attempting to expose Hollywood’s sinister pedophile ring.

The Outrageous Things Celebrities Spend Their Money On

The lifestyles of the rich and famous mean that they can make way more extreme purchases than us normal people. However, sometimes celebrities spend outrageous amounts on all kinds of things. From private islands to costly wine, you won’t believe what celebrities spend their money on!

After you see these purchases, maybe you won’t feel so badly about your own “frivolous spending,” because, after all, you didn’t buy a solid gold bathtub or a pricy humidifier! Read on to find out exactly who bought what and why.

Let’s begin…

Johnny Depp: $30,000 in Wine

When Johnny Depp sued his former business managers for financial mismanagement, they countersued. That’s when the money dirt came out. In the suit, they alleged that Depp’s inability to keep his spending under control caused his money troubles. Details in the lawsuit revealed that Depp spends $2 million a month, including a jaw-dropping amount on wine.

Documents show that the actor spends $30,000 a month on fine wine and that Depp even flies the wine from France to his movie sets! Even more amazing? He spent $3 million to shoot the ashes of Hunter S. Thompson out of a cannon. Why? We have no idea. But it apparently was worth spending millions to do.

You Wont Believe What These Countries Consider Delicacies!

We all have our own personal tastes. Some prefer sushi, and others a juicy piece of steak. But these countries may have taken what they consider delicacies just a little too far. This is a list of the most weird and wonderful dishes from around the world

Fried Grasshoppers, Mexico

Oh no, you did not miss-read. Apparently in Mexico there is nothing more delicious than Chapilines, a dish made from fried grasshoppers. Next time you see one hopping outside your window, remember all you need to do is catch them, fry them, and there you go- dinner is ready.

Smalahove, Norway

The ingredients for this dish are just about as weird as the name. Comprised of one ingredient: the fully intact head of a lamb, this delicacy is enjoyed in Norway and is usually kept as a pre-Christmas treat. Yummy.

Balut, South East Asia

The method of making this delicacy is far from ordinary and may leave you with nightmares. Balut, eaten in south east Asia is a developing duck embryo that has been boiled alive and eaten in the shell. Traditionally served with beer- probably to get drunk enough to forget the whole eating experience.

Snake penis wine, Vietnam and Asia

Okay, so it involved a snake, but whether it involves the actual penis of said snake is questionable. This wine, popular in Vietnam and Asia comes with a whole venomous snake in the bottle since snakes are thought to have health properties. Personally, this is one of the only times I would refuse wine point blank.

Arroz de Cabidela, Portugal

Essentially a rabbit or chicken cooked in its own blood and added to rice, water and vinegar. This is not a delicacy for the feint-hearted.

Butod, Malaysia

Incredibly ugly, but apparently incredibly nutritious this ‘butod’ is the name used for the delicacy consisting of sago grub or sago worm. Disclaimer: this wormy wriggly bug is eaten ALIVE.

Blood Tofu, China

What looks like delicious chocolate chunks, is actually fat lumps of pig’s blood. However, in China they are not fussy and will also use sheep, chicken, and even cows blood for this bloody delicacy.

Frog Legs, France

The French call it delicious, I call it questionable. But difference of opinion aside, the well-known French delicacy consists of fried frog legs, parsley and garlic source and is said to taste like chicken or fish.

Tuna Eyeball, Japan

Although visually unappealing (excuse the pun), this Japanese dish is said not only to be super affordable but super tasty.

Virgin Boy wee eggs, China

And finally, the strangest of the lot. These eggs are cooked in the urine of young boys. Seemingly a tradition, in spring urine of pre-pubescent boys is collected all over China and boiled with the eggs. The eggs can be sold for double the price. And I am left with absolutely nothing to say except I’ll take my eggs pee-free thank you very much.

And there you have it- the most bizarre delicacies from across the globe. Bon appetit!

They Looking For Lost Uranium. What They Found Literally Electrified Them!

For three decades, since 1942 to 1972 mankind thought it beat nature when the first sustainable nuclear chain reaction was created. All this changed in 1972 when French Pierrelatte uranium enrichment facility compared samples from the Oklo Uranium mine in Gabon, on the west coast of Africa. The U isotope concentration dropped form the normal 0.72% to 0.6%. This could have meant that some isotopes made it to the wrong hands and nuclear weapons or dirty bombs could be made. The French Commission for Nuclear Energy (CEA) began to investigate. What they found was no less than dumbfounding!

The CEA ran a series of tests only to find that the two most significant isotopes of the uranium mined at Oklo showed strange results. Finding more questions than answers, the CEA investigated the uranium ore in the Oklo mine and found concentration levels as low as 0.44%. The reduction in the U isotope is the result of the process in a nuclear reactor. Eliminating all the impossible, the only answer that was left, as improbable as it sounded, was that the mine operated as a natural fission reactor that generated self-sustaining nuclear chain reactions about Earth about 2 billion years ago. Further investigations found other natural fission reactors in the area.

Natural Fission Reactors

The first nuclear power plant went online in 1951. In 1956, five years after the first nuclear powered electric plant was erected, a chemist from the University of Arkansas, Paul L. Kuroda theorized that a combination of uranium and water could become a natural fission reactor, in earth’s early history.

While examining the concentration in the Oklo mine, it was discovered that the original uranium core had higher concentration levels of the Uranium-235 – the isotope ideal to fuel a fission reaction. Isotope u-235 naturally decays into thorium and releases a neutron in the process. The released neutron races towards another U-235 atom and a fission process is commenced.

One of the reasons fission reactions are controllable today are because of low concentrations of u-235 – 0.7% on average. In comparison 4.5 billion years ago, concentration levels were much higher and broke down as time went by. Scientists claim that at a concentration level above 3.2%, probability says a reaction will continue all on its own. Therefore, a key factor that made the reaction possible was that at the time, the fissile isotope U235 made up about 3.2% of the natural uranium, which is comparable to the amount used in some of today’s reactors. It is unknown if Kuroda ever imagined he would be able to view his theory in practice, but evidently, he’s a lucky scientist!

Unique Phenomena

The Oklo, Okelobondo mines and Bangombe mines, located 35 k”m from the Oklo mines are the only known places that natural nuclear fission occurred. For almost 2 billion years it generated an average of 100 Kwh until the uranium 235 was exhausted and no more fission activity could take place. The reactor eventually slowed to a stop, leaving only a few traces behind that it ever existed – including the enigma of the “missing uranium” – the enigma that sparked the research!

Want To Live in America and Enjoy Canada’s Universal Health Insurance? Buy This House!

A property with entrances both from the American and Canadian side is up for sale. Customs officials and border police allow tenants to move freely inside the house as long as they stay inside or in the yard. What happens if you want to go outside?

Most people who live in a number of countries simultaneously usually have a lot of miles of their frequent flier card. Yet, there is one place on the border between the Us and Canada that enables tenants to live in both countries simultaneously, without leaving the comfort of your home.

The house is located between Beebe Plain, Vermont and Stanstead, Quebec and is now up for sale. The property, built in 1782 is 3,010 square feet is currently divided into five different units.

A Merchant’s House

The property known in the area as “Old Stone Store” was built by a merchant who wanted to sell agricultural product in Vermont and Quebec. The current owners who are in their 70’s inherited it 40 years ago. They have a dual Canadian and American citizenship and are hoping to sell the property and move to Ontario and be closer to their grandchildren.

The property is listed for $109,000 (USD) but needs about $600,000 invested in renovation. But, as the owners found out, it isn’t easy to sell a house situated on the border of two countries. Even if they are very close and friendly neighbors like the US and Canada.

Life on the Border

According to the residents, Brian and Joan DuMoulin who have grown accustomed to living on the border says that it used to be something natural and normal, but the days of crossing the border without being noticed are over. DuMoulin states 9/11 as the cause for change.

The house has two entrances, one from the Canadian side of the border and one from the American. Customs officials and border patrol officers have learnt to recognize the tenants and allow them to move freely inside the house and the yard, but limitations start when tenants try to leave the property. The rear gate (to America) is now locked for security reasons dictated by the Americans. “That’s the awkwardness” DuMoulin says “you can’t just go this way or this way, you’ve got to go through (the ports of entry) and then back through.”

Having said all that, Rosemary Lalime, the couple’s realtor said that the house has been shown to over 10 potential buyers and another six more recently. Except for one prospector, all of them were American. With the property now going viral, we expect the property to be sold in no time!
