Must Watch: World’s Biggest Underground Bike Parking

Bikes are the future. Actually, they are the present in many places around the globe. One problem all bike owners still have is bike parking. They get too full, too quick and then go figure where to secure your bike. Watch the video below.

In Holland, improvements are being made for bike owners. The world’s biggest underground bike parking opened at a Dutch city called Utrecht. This underground parking center provides security for bike owners.

The parking center has three floors and it can cater up to 6000 bikes(!!!). Utrecht authorities keep expanding the parking lot and they promised that by the end of the year (2018) it would be able to house up to 12500 bikes.

This is the rent-by-hour bike service, also located in the new underground bike parking. The bikes are being readied for their underground journey to their new rent center.

Take a look at this massive bike rack.

Like a car park, but smaller, healthier and cooler.

This parking center is open 24/7, so people can come at any time to park their bike here. For the first 24 hours parking is free for those people who are the users of public transport chip.

We want to be better…So if you found a mistake in this article, please let us know

American Football Field: The Perfect Place to Die?

A “perfect place to die”- this was New York Jets Jamal Adams’ response when he was asked about CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) during an event this Monday. And although his passion for the American pastime is clear, if you were to take his words literally, it seems football players may actually need to have a death wish in order to continue with a passion for their sport.

CTE

When Nigerian born Bennet Omalu first discovered the link between CTE, a degenerative brain disease, and American football all the way back in 2006, he was dismissed by the NFL as scientifically invalid. However, as the years went by this clear-cut connection between concussions sustained during football and CTE is no longer deniable. Only last week a new study conducted by medical journal JAMA came out with disturbing results. In 2015 a movie called “Concussion” starring Will Smith was produced.

The study included the researching of 202 brains from deceased former football players. The investigation showed that an overwhelming 99 percent (110 out of 111) of former NFL players were diagnosed with a degenerative brain disease and 87 percent of players showed CTE. These alarmingly high numbers seem to scream out to those in power to make some drastic changes to this lovely American patriotic game which may, very unpatriotically, be causing irreversible damage to many of its players.

Players Are Showing Concern

While some, like Jamal Adams seem kind of at peace with the sacrifice, there are always two sides to the coin. NFL player Martellus Bennet, hours after he heard about Jamal’s response to the CTE question, voiced his opinion through a series of tweets.

He continued, “Look football is great but I ain’t dying for this s—t. lo,”. Seems not all players are at piece with sacrificing for the game. Another person who was not impressed with Jamal’s response to CTE concerns was the ex-wife of the late Steerlers offensive lineman Justin Strzelczyk who was diagnosed with CTE after his death. Ex-wife Keana MacMahon who divorced Strzelczyk just nine months before he drove his pickup truck into oncoming traffic stated regarding Jamal’s comments “I don’t even know what to say. This guy (Adams) doesn’t know what’s coming down the pipeline,”.

Clearly, as CTE studies continue and the results continue to point out the connection between seemingly harmless football field tackles, and a very harmful disease that causes depression, paranoia, rage and possible early death, changes will have to be implemented or Football players will be forced to truly question whether the field is in fact the perfect place to die.

Ronaldo 2017 in pictures

Cristiano Ronaldo

If there is one debate you can count on finding everywhere around the globe – it’s Ronaldo vs. Messi. Their professional rivalry has elevated their teams and made football a better and more interesting game. No two players could be more different. One is tall the other is short, one plays for Barcelona and their tiki-taka, and the other has a team built around him to maximize his productivity. One is an artist with the ball and you never know what to expect of him (except the exceptional) while the other is an amazing athlete and a focused personality. We are a lucky bunch to have the privilege to enjoy these two artists throughout their entire career.

But only one has done the unthinkable – win the EUFA Champions League Cup back to back. In honor of his extraordinary achievement, we give you Cristiano Ronaldo’s 2016-7 season in color.

Little Boy Steals the Spotlight At A Hockey Game

When we were children attending sports games with our families, we always saw the jumbo tron and wanted to gain our two seconds of fame. Some of us succeeded, while others had their hearts broken every single time. Two year old Mason had been fortunate enough to not only succeed in getting his seconds of fame, but also winning the crowd over as he showed his dedication to being a fan of the Detroit Red Wings game. Through being adorable, he was able to become a trending sensation, making the entire stadium cheer hard for him as he continued to smile on the big screen, embracing his fame.

All Mason had to do was smile and look pretty damn adorable to earn applause from the crowd around the giant stadium. His smile was capturing, and the cheers he recieved were the expectation of what a two year old would look like had he or she gotten the opportunity to be on the jumbo tron. Even more so, Mason was such a star that he had won the title of honorary member for the Detroit Red Wings, something that was a first for him and his adorable little face.

As other viewers obtain screentime, the entire crowd can be heard booing at the loss of Mason’s presence. Not only does this show how much everyone adores children, but this is more of a sign that if a child smiles on the big screen and cheers like a little puppy, the whole audience will go absolutely crazy over him, and the rest of the story will be history. It is quite clear that Mason will read these articles one day in the future, and look back in pride at how precious of a child he truly was and is.
